The Roach push in game 4 seems like it would win either way, but the commentary indicated defense might hinge on whether warpgate research finished first.



I don't play Starcraft 2 so can someone explain why it's an immediate loss if you don't get warpgate researched? My understanding is just that you can't beam units in at Pylons, but you can still produce from the Gate like a Barracks.



Well you can produce them but it takes way more time without warpgates.

Also, I can understand people leaving without giving the GG if they lose to some kind of stupid cheesed but doing so after your own cheese fails is just sad.
