but observer fail for leaving the thing on units rather than production for way too long.
casters also didn't talk about upgradse. i still don't know what they were at.

fail on GSL for not using more up to date UI overlays when almost every other tourney with way less money do.

God-tier blink micro.

Did anyone watch closely enough to know what the upgrades were?

2 attack toss,
2 carapce zerg finished right before gold dies, that's all i could figure out.
Death to the swarm!!!!!!!!!

that was... just.... almost perfect play... so good

how depressed must rogue have been? to just tap out like that? it's like a UFC fight, where afighter gets beaten so badly while standing, that after they separate in a lull, he just taps out.
Indeed. I think it was only possible because of the upgrade states.
I bugs me because sometimes casters make it seem like the upgrades are one of the biggest reasons for swinging a battle, and in this case, where it actually is more so than any other game, it's hardly mentioned... which makes it seem like it's due to micro so much more.

If rogue sent a detachment to attach from another angle simultaneously, he would have burned more forcefields faster. Parting kept getting to engage in one direction, making super efficient use of forcefields every time.
4 bases, almost 80 supply ahead, denied a 3rd base... I know parting played extremely well, but I have to imagine there was a lot more the zerg could have done in that position. He had to have made accumulations of mistakes, whether we caught them or not.

The good thing is Rogue is the type of player to learn from this. Yes he had the advantage and still lost, but to even get ahead vs PartinG shows he has the skill to defeat any protoss. I'm rooting for Rogue to win a GSL!
