TvZ is not balanced. Zerg player need so much more skill to beat terran ..(i am protoss player so i dont cry) .. but it does not matter, we have 2/3 Starcrfat now. Legacy of the Void cloud change some things.. lets hope..



Bomber is the boss!



Imagine if Zerg was as strong as it was in late WoL...... Jaedong would have 4 championships by now. Kinda feel bad for him. Especially on seeing how neutral and emotionless Bomber was upon winning. Jaedong would have cried for sure. He will get his trophy soon

Wow. Terran is disgustingly OP in this match up.



What was Bomber even doing that was new to HotS, or "OP"? He used very few widow mines throughout the entire matchup. He didn't exploit the medivac boost. He didn't use any hellbats. Scarlett beat plenty of Terrans who did use these HotS "OP" strategies/units, but she lost to Bomber because he played better. Same goes for Jaedong. This is the second time Jaedong got swept because he just can't handle playing a championship. Furthermore, he used the same strategy (muta/ling/baneling) 4 times, 4 losses. When something obviously isn't working (not to mention being predictable), maybe it's time to change it up and try fungal, broods, ultras, or more aggressive/gimmicky timings.



terran op? let's look at this matchup:
game 1: builds 16 lings for a rush, fail. forgets baneling speed WHILE PLAYING ling bling muta.
Conclusion: game 1 was totally sloppy play from the dong.
game2: bomber outplayed dong, who did the EXACT SAME THING. it didnt work before, why try again?
game3: saw the early rush, and reacts with...4lings. that's what happens when you open greedy!
game4: were you zergs watching the same game as me? the banelings came in from behind, got wrecked by tanks, that's all she wrote!

No ggslugs? no gglords? dong was 1 dimensional and got beat down for it.

Oh, and i LOVE THE TASTE of you whiney zerg players! Oh, how the tables have turned! Go back to WOL if you want to play with an OP race, you lazy a-moveers have to micro for your wins now.

I just love the comment about zerg having to micro now... Have you seen how hard it is to micro mines? Ummm burrow and thats it?



My only complaing is all of these "All in 1 video"s instead of having each of the 7 games behind the spoiler shield. Knowing it was a best of 7, and seeing how long the video was, I knew immediately that whoever won the first match had won the series. :'(

I actually think things are balanced right now. Sweeps happen in all professional sports.



I agree. I am a Zerg player, and think (based on professional results) that the game seems almost perfectly balanced.

However, it is still pretty frustrating to be multitasking your ass off against a "widow-mine Terran".

All he does is burrow a few Widow mines, and forget about them. If the Zerg is unaware, or macroing in just one wrong second, he loses his entire zergling or baneling army to a few widow mines.

The Terran probably just looks at the mini map and goes (ahh yes, I must have put a few widow mines there, cool man) while the mines turn the tide without ANY skill required by the Terran.



@ #13 i know what you mean and if you dont want to listen to the 30mins of talking before each match you have to look at the length to skip it :S



I think the game is pretty balanced in almost all respects, widow mines being the exception. They're cheap, easy to use, and deal heavy splash.

One of their few weaknesses, burrow time, is ameliorated by an upgrade that allows them to burrow almost instantly.

Aside from mines, it seems like SCII is pretty good shape these days.



As a bronze ass player, mines are a great answer to banelings, because honestly. You get 6 banelings and I'll be owned, promise. :P

But besides their enormous damage output, if you're perceptive, they're actually really easy to spot.

The series is crazy though, loved it. :D



Just the fact that a Zerg plays a Terran in the finals should show that the MU isn't unbalanced. How the hell would a zerg make it to the finals if the MU is so unbalanced as you say?



Well... I'm not saying you're wrong, but he did in fact get to the grand finals by ONLY playing Protoss... Bomber was the first Terran he met all weekend, and he didn't even win a single map.

Again, I'm not saying the game is imbalanced, but you're argument is pretty retarded and invalid.



Go 15 min into the video and you will see these specific facts: Jaedong ZvT = 76% winrate. Bomber TvZ = 46% winrate.
So please stop whineing. Bomber won this because he was the better player at this specific time and place. Not because the MU is broken...



Apollo was never a favourite caster for me but I have to say he has stepped it up in the past year IMO.
