Maru vs Dongraegu

love this matchup. great games!
game #1 at roughly 16 min in the top of the screen Maru accidentally focused down one of his Marauders, who hide behind the grass. Maybe his Marines freaked out when seeing this big black shadow in the bushes.

Speaking for myself I'd say it is just solid StarCraft action. You're right, there is nothing "spectacular" happening like a fresh build, interesting cheese or amazingly close base races... but also nothing, that would particularly spoil the viewers experience like sloppy play, dragged out situations, disturbing mistakes, boring build-order wins that are decided in minute 4, annoying casters or the game being heavily one-sided. It is "just" a standard by the book TvZ where every little mistake, any tech-decision, missed scout or lost battle might cost you the game... so I find entertaining watching two professionals master this tense situation with 200 - 400 APM without knowing the outcome.

Also, admittedly I think I just always enjoy when Terran wins. I don't know why, seems like somewhere deep within I am Terran biased, but maybe also because I am often "underdog"-biased and right now there are so many Zerg and Protoss winning stuff that I just enjoy seeing Terran's doing good in major leagues and tournaments.



Maru is my new terran idol too!
