If you take out what is in Artosis' eyes the "Terran killer" 3-0 with barely any effort even with weird builds, you know there's going to be a SICK GSL Code S coming up!



Game 1 was one for the history books.



Why were they explaining everything as if t was mstly new viewers? Was it a special day for new people?



They do it all the time. All. The. Time.

There's not a day that goes by when something like "You get the warp prism to reinforce your army" is said or "Doom dropping means that the other terran can't get units out because you're on top of his production". Or "Marines have the most DPS next to carriers" or "If the lings surround the army it's bad news"

I could probably add another 20 examples but you get the point. They've been doing this for as long as I can remember, which is quite a few years.



Funny, lately I've only had time to watch the S2 Code A series from top of month, and I'd never noticed as much as this.

The way they kep atalking about the Code S reseeded since LoTV also had me wondering if I wasn't watching an old VOD from just after the switch.

Anyway, hopefully I will stop noticing (cannot unsee?)



I definitely can't unsee it. From my viewpoint it is getting tiresome but from a professional viewpoint as theirs, they just really have to elaborate on this stuff every once in a while. They want to try to get as many new viewers as possible (As well as there simply being new people in the audience at those tournaments) so it helps the new viewers understand why the pro's (And even gold leagues etc) do the things they do.

They do try to elaborate on different things as much as possible, but most of it just relies on the current build orders and races. Tastosis can hardly explain why "a bigger muta flock than your opponent is very important" when they're on still on roach tech.

But yeah, you'll keep hearing the "He has a lower worker count because of that harass but he can use mules to compensate" and it'll remind you of this discussion :P
