@ kurble: i was thinking the same. Making tons of roaches and trading them before protoss can get a decent amount of collossi seems like a very strong strategy (given the incredible cost efficiency of roaches).

I really hate Idra cuz of he's bad manners.. but god damn that macro in the first game was just sick... how do u defend against a steam of units like that..

Idra just seems to get sicker and sicker. Even against MC he makes it look easy.



hi rez, Picture-in-Picture FTW every time. Caster has gotten good at reminding us when to look for the P-in-P but ideally there would be a visual indicator like a glow, pulse, or other special effect that draws the eye down there when the P-in-P starts and ends.



Game 1: "...on the upgrades, "one" on the hydra, and on the roaches? ONE AS WELL!"

Wonderful, zerg lost lots of units without a fight, esp. while the first drop attempt.



Game 2: i'm totally sure protoss would win if he backdoored low-hp hatchery or at least kill it while 12min attack and fall back, or finally when he killed the gold - if he killed natural in the same time (2-4 zils would be enought) - easy win.

Also bad positioning on immortals in the final fight, they were like "please take me please"



i agree with #20. i thought MC was going to plant a pylon or something and suicide after that hatch.



where can I find the rematch between these 2?



@ substyle im uploading games 3, 4 and 5 as we speak on my channel and will take care of game 6 later tonight or tomorrow morning. Hopefully sc2casts admin will be kind enough to place the whole extended series here and provide it with the visibility it deserves.

Wow, I really didnt like Idra cause of his arrogance but in game he just dominated MC, it was like he was playing with a bronze league player not a pro.

Finnaly Youtube allowed me to upload game 6! took me almost 3 days to make it work. For some reason Youtube started hating the video format i use for over 1 year now on all my uploaded matches.

OMG! Why Idra started to make only hidras vs only stalkers?????????? And why he make a unit that can see cloack and didnt use it??

hydras own stalkers fyi.he had leftover corruptors that could dominate any collossi MC tried to get. so the idea behind massing hydras was excellent. but he lost due to not having an overseer and waiting too long for his infestors that dt and zealots massed for MC won the game. he was trying to get infestors to stop hydras blinking away, cos he couldnt get creep spread going.



nice camera movement by xHydrax. Most casters move camera like crazy so that viewer goes crazy. But xHydrax has a stable picture, making use of "Camera following unit" many times.
