Why all the down-votes? I think these were decent casts.
Too bad for Goody that mech isn't viable vs protoss, his bio control is pretty bad..




No clue why people hate so much but no worries :D I'll watch back and see what's wrong, try look at it critically.

Sorry that I repeat "Ever so slightly" a few times :) It's hard when casting to get out of ticks like that. You'll notice a lot of even the big name casters do it.



Don't take any of the below personal, these are just some of the things that I changed in my casting. I only watched Game 1, as I think that is what majority of the people here whom downvote do. You're not going to downvote something after watching it for 30 minutes.

-- Looking at your previous casts featured here, you started getting a lot of down votes when you implemented your cam. It seems as if people just don't like caster cam's. If you are insistent on it, I would look into getting an overlay made so it is a bit more fluid inside the interface.

-- You focused a lot more on Hasu and not Goody, from time to time look at what both players see. You did it a bit with Hasu and the observers, however you didn't do it for goody; he could of scanned. This is crucial to knowing why players do things. Maybe Goody scanned just before he tried to take out the rocks. It's fine if you don't know enough to talk about why players are moving out but as long as you show perspectives from time to time the viewer may know.

-- Your camera is a hybrid between caster and player. You may want to try experimenting with your control when you cast.

--- For starters I absolutely hate health bars "always on", it is much better to leave it on selected and then CTRL+SHIFT click key units when the battle comes or box units in storm. People will complain at first but once you get good it makes a big difference. Additionally, this will help show upgrades.

--- Near the end you jittered the camera up and down to see the entire fight, it was the final battle you could CTRL+W to remove the interface and see the entire battle without camera movements and an epic finish screen.

--- I went as far as making an observer hotkey setup changing things like the unit hotkeys to location or follow unit to space bar and changing all my scroll speeds down.


I think you did a good job as a caster but the game wasn't all that entertaining. I really hate any game that is pretty much over in 1 engagement. Protoss had 30% supply, 20+ workers killed, and an upgrade/tech advantage after the first engagement.



Command Center gets started. Caster: "Command Center goes down."
Command Center is built. Caster: "Command Center goes down."
Command Center gets destroyed. Caster: "Command Center goes down."

My advise: get some fresh verbs and use them.



It takes something special to lose an entire mineral line to a single zealot



Goody was somehow doing better with mech vs protoss. His bio play is bad to say the least.



Lol perhaps people got annoyed at you getting up and ignoring the game about 3 times in the 2nd vid?



Well joof these vods are from our mouzTV stream in which I interact with the chat a lot :) I just upload the VODs to my Youtube and they get posted here :) - There's nothing I can do about that for VODs really unless I just don't upload them, which for me is pretty pointless.

I appreciate all your criticisms Ipp :) I know my observing is/was a bit hectic, slowing down. And ultimately, I can't really control the quality of the games lol :) Just uploading the qualifiers because they didn't get very much coverage.
