Dongraegu vs Life

I never thought a ZvZ match would be so exciting and awsome but these games were one my favorite Grand Finals of any tournament so far.
Congratulations Life, excellent games.
Congratulations DRG, you still are one of the best zergs in the world.



Yes, I don't (sorry, "didn't") enjoy watching ZvZ.

Thought I'd give this match a shot, being the grand finals and all.

Great, great games. So much respect for both of these guys. And was pleased to see how much respect they seem to have for each other demonstrated by the quick GGs.



Also, I'm just curious: what is the reasoning for downvoting games like this?

I don't particularly care if there are zero disliked or whatever, but does a downvote mean someone was unhappy with a ZvZ finale, the games were not well played or interesting, or is it just to be 'that guy'?



@Amatuertoss: Part of it I imagine is the shoddy video quality. There's a bunch of other pro(ish)-casters out there where the video doesn't look like it was processed through some abandonware video transcoder. There's so much blocking even at 720p here.

Another thing might be the personalities. Typically most users don't have issues with casters unless they're particularly annoying though you can be sure that a lot of them fall prey to their immediate impulse of thumbing down every time they see someone they dislike for some weird reason or another. This happens a lot with popular-ish casters and so you can pretty much bet that Day9 will be part of that crowd.



I soooooo wanted DRG to win this... "I hate life!"

Amazing series!!! Picture quality not the best but the casting and awesome job by DRG and Life make up for it :)

Day9 is as annoying as hell. that 'wizard... fantasia... black wizard' talk was just brain numbing. seriously, what the hell.

and to life's breaking of 1 queen+ling rump hold off... yeah it was great but the whole 90second after talk about 'in a caster's life we get 60%right 40% wrong'... i mean, i know it was great but you can surely appreciate it in a easier way.

there are other bits and pieces, things like, 'event is so clean... entertainment so great' stuff...

I know Day9 is a big starcraft personality. but over the top is never good, doesn't matter if you are Day 9 or not.



Day9 is only good for live events. I just mute him usually. The camera control was abominable, though. I actually wrote this comment just because in game 5 there's this moment where a baneling kills a bunch of lings and the guy does this deeply idiotic back-and-forth camera spin thing like "whooAAoooAOOoOAOAOAo" move that irritated me to the core of my soul. Pleeeeaaaaaase stop with that, and try to occasionally flash to how many drones are alive in the game, you bronze-league idiot



Couldn't disagree more. Day9 was absolutely fantastic as always. Incredible games. Wow.
