Mutas really need a nerf. Impossible to deal with tech switches against zerg as toss.

awesome imortal drop

Boring with Korean winner? What the hell did you expect? They're simply better.
They are not simply better, havent you watched WCS so far? No koreans have made it in WCS eu. So no, and just check this 5 game, it could have been naniwa who stood as the winner there, 2 wins and close with third. They are not simply better, Naniwa and Sase beat Jaedong in dreamhack, just as an example and we all know just how good jaedong are, and he got beaten by 2 swedes.
And a part from that many koreans got beaten, Leenock was Zerg, and that always help, I mean Toss cant make a tech switch with 8 colossus and stalkers from having 10 phoenixes, the tech switch takes at least 6 min as a toss, but as a Zerg it takes just the building time of that unit, and my friends is OP, it gotta be nerfed, that like 10 units of each kind is only possible to build every 30 sec or so, so no one just can switch from brood lord to ultras to 40 mutas. It just shouldnt be possible because protoss need immortals for the ultras, colossus for the broodlords and stalkers, and then storm archons and blink stalkers for the mutas, it just isnt possible. So leenock did not win with skill that last game, it was because of him being Zerg, and we all know that.

and my friends THAT is OP (as hell) *

^You're right. That must by why the the first 4 players making it to the GSL round of 8 are all Protoss and Terran. And in WCS Europe 10 players have advanced to the Ro16 and only 2 are zergs, and in WCS North America 8 have advanced and only 3 are zergs. Doesn't seem like zerg is OP to me...
Anyways, as far as these games are concerned, correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like Leenock would have stomped the pushes in both games 4 and 5 if he had just focused down the warp prism with his air units. Game 4 would have meant that no stalkers could be warped in, giving the Mutas free reign, and game 5 would mean no reinforcements and no Colossus-into-warp-prism micro.
You can only do a tech switch like that if you have the resources accumulated. Don't allow resources to accumulate and you prevent the tech switch.
video number 4 is only half there!! It only shows 5 minutes and 49 seconds.... where is the whole video?
#13 hits the nail on the head. Zerg is only "OP" with their tech switch when they have 3000 minerals and 3000 gas banked up beyond their initial maxed army -- you DESERVE to lose when you've fallen that far behind in economy.
Overall, Zerg is statistically the weakest race among recent high tier tournaments, with a pretty underwhelming 45%-ish win rate (which means VERY underpowered).
Awesome series, but Leenock played better. Period.
To be more precise, Zerg's recent overall winrate is 46.13%
Ofcourse zerg isnt OP, its just the TECH SWITCH that is OP, it really is. And you who say, "its the opponents fault if a zerg get that much minerals", guys have you even played the game? All 4 player 1vs1 maps, is a zerg haven...it is ALWAYS 3k gas 3k minerals when zerg play on big maps, ALWAYS. Zerg in smal maps cant do those tech switches, but ofcourse in big maps that tech switch is a problem, and also blizzard have OFCOURSE acknowledged that issue, but doesnt seem to find a good answer to it, so they dont do anything about, but as I said, 10-15 units per 30sec as cap, for example would mean this would still be possible with huge tech switches, but would be a little harder at least. And no zerg is NOT underpowered at the moment...zerg is just not fully understood yet, but just check Life and Leenock, they have figured HOTS out, and they are playing the game very very smooth and are OP because of the game mechanics, leenock would not be able to win against anyone with terran or protoss since his game is all about tech switches. Same with Life, and recently same with stephano. The strong side with zerg is to strong on big maps period. You just dont get the game if you cant see this issue that blizzard themselfs agree is a huge problem.
so noobs...learn the game fully, and understand that it isnt just about races, the maps is a HUGE thing in this discussion. Tech switches on big maps is just to OP and no one that understand the game mechanics can say otherwise.

Lol Salai, what league are you in?
Zergs, even on big maps, only get to an insane amount of resources if you do as well, unless you play wrong and bad. Big maps also leave more harass opportunities with drops and hidden proxy pylons, and often leaves a difficult third for the Zerg.
And Zerg is a race that relies on reaction. If you take away their ability to react accordingly to the opponent's tech, then imagine what the win-rate would be... it's already very bad at 46 %. Take away the ability to tech switch in late game, and it will drop even further.
And learn to play the game. You call other players newbs, but claim that you often let a zerg get to 3k mins and gas... Either the Zergs you play are bad, which makes you bad to lose to them, or you are bad to let them get to that point, unless you also contain 3k mins and gas.
So be nice to others please, cause they don't deserve your undocumented whine about imbalance, especially not when statistics speak against you. You sound like a freakin' diamond player who doesn't know how to play.
To everyone else: I love the game, and don't waste your energy complaining about the balance. Enjoy the game, and try to figure out how to beat the game. There's always a way to defeat any style.
Peace friends. :-)

Salai, it's kinda obvious that you are the noob. The things you are complaining about, ... you wouldn't be complaining if you understood the game.
The comments here are inane, not a single word about the games themselves, it's all whining about imbalance for whatever the winner's race was. All games, not just this one. Talk about the games you troglodytes.
