IdrA vs Polt

Last game ever for EG's Idra. He goes out in true Idra style.



IdrA actually played really damn well in game 1. Not anyone can pull that off against Polt. But they the **** couldn't he end it? :P

I'm so glad idra was fired. It's embarrassing watching him play and now I never have to again!



Idra is the definition of someone with no heart. Hes smart enought to be a top level player but doesn't know how to lose so doesn't learn from his loses. His arrogance has made him a failure in the long run.

Good riddance.



To be fair in Game 1, the observer failed to show Polt killing Idra's last mining base. Idra would have been forced in to a base race scenario with an ultralisk army vs terran's floating buildings. Even if he engaged at that tiny choke and didnt go for a base race, if he had managed to clean up Polt's army, he would not have enough resources and income to remax and make a worthwhile attack on Polt's newly mining orbital before Polt could himself remax and still be infinitely ahead.



game1 nice strat by idra. cool to see inovative builds however he failed to deliver any damage to terran economy. zero ling run by, zero muta harass, zero chance to win. when he left the game was in fact lost

game2 was the most useless roach rush ever



Gave this a thumbs up as a great example of why Idra should not be playing. Brilliant start first game but he made only one push, no harass and rage quits. Idra is UNBA (not imbalanced, but psychologically unbalanced).



Downvotes!? Game one was great! Excellent casting too and I NEVER say that! I've always loved Rotterdam but had no idea Axslav could be so insightful and, basically, not annoying. Also, kudos for being professional and not out right criticizing Idra who so obviously has serious issues. Good for EG dumping him, just a bad reputation that's all.



I would have liked to see him at least A-move his ultras and the rest of his 200/200 army into Polt's planetery position. So what if he thinks the game is lost? Destruction is more fun to watch than construction. Lame that he quit when he did, this game is about more than winning or losing, it's still a game and should be about having fun first.



fuck Idra... Who'd ever want to root for him?
