Catz... doing a proxy hatch build?!? Didn't see THAT coming. LMAO. Wait.. of course we did. And so did Dragon... you can clearly see that on his facial expressions at the end of game 1. He's like "Wtf, i knew that was coming"
I got nothing against Catz, but I feel like the dude thinks he's earned some sort of status he's never achieved. I dunno, call me ignorant, but maybe his popularity and 'streaming' has gotten to his head. His body language at the end of the vid made me feel like he was 'shruggin it off' like its no big deal to beat Dragon in a best of 3 in a tourny. No matter how many times you beat Dragon on ladder, its still a big deal in a tourny - imo.
I respect Catz - he's dedicated, and a creative player who's always entertaining. But, he's not championship material. (yet) :)

Also keep in mind that Peru is a relatively poor country compared to the rest of South America and machismo culture only really fades away with the development of a strong civil society which is itself dependent on there being a large enough middle class who have the time and the money to put into tertiary education.

@#2, agree with last line. Creative, entertaining to watch, not championship material.

What is with these comments? How do you people know Catz well enough to decipher his body language as "arrogant" and "macho"? As his opponent, I would appreciate the lack of "rub it in my face" childish exuberance.
@#3, 4: Masculinity (just as femininity) has its proper place in every society, pernicious fanaticism notwithstanding.

@mistersheik: No derp, bro. I'm not making a point about the principle of social structures but the extent of them. If machismo overreaches like it does in a lot of South American and Latin American countries, then it starts infringing on the rights of others, including other men. It's the difference between making someone feel terrible because you judge them not to be masculine enough and acting masculine on your own without enforcing your beliefs on others.

Or it's the difference between thinking it's okay to objectify women, a paradigm predisposes you to act on particular predatory instincts, and thinking women are human beings who can assume whatever identity they want (so long as it doesn't infringe on your rights). Or it's making fun of and beating up someone who you think is effeminate just because you don't like how they act and letting them be whoever the hell they want to be. Etc. You can come up with your own examples.
