Holy great games! Both players look pretty strong - Funny how game 2 was long enough for both players to show more than 15 minutes of domination of their opponent. :)

Disgusting 2nd game.. Jaedong (one of the best broodwar players) with x2 resources, for so long, could not win.. sadly SC2 is dying.

#4 - last I checked, SC1:Broodwar and SC2:HOTS were 2 completely different games.

#6 - well, it seems like it. I mean the 'S' part (of the RTS) is missing in HOTS. There is no way in a *strategic* game to lose if you have double the resources of the opponent, unless you screw up *seriously* in tactics (micro), which didn't happen..

#7, That's not true. He pretty much a-moved into a cannoned choke with Ultras. Even Diamond players know that's a bad idea. And that pretty much cost him an army and two bases, so his income was kinda reset (even worse than MC's).
Trust me, I know the frustration - I'm also zerg :D - and I have lost so many battles where I've been miles ahead of my opponent, because I don't stay calm and aren't creative enough.
MC on the other hand, played pretty much strategically perfect from the moment he came behind, while Jaedong made small mistakes all the time. So don't tell me it's not about strategy.

Here's a little trick. Try playing on the ladder with a trackpad. You may not win a lot of games, but it forces you to think strategically and reactively more than "being fast", and you will find that you actually play much better than anticipated. I did this a while ago and - even as Zerg - won against a lot of higher ranked players, despite limited mobility, because I was forced to "think to win", rather than "click to win".
If that is possible, then yes... Starcraft 2: HotS... is in fact a strategy game.

@sadjedi - 'micro' is hardly the only tactical element of the game. Jaedong made mistakes in several engagements, and positional play, timings and unit composition are very important too. Looking at JD's very dominant performance in ZvP over the tournament, it hardly seems like the match-up is unfair. I say this as a huge JD fan, btw.

In game2 zerg "outplanned" himself, letting P. take 3rd with 160 supply of roach is a flatout mistake.
#8 is retarded... trackpad... okey!
