another game not gg'd by ToD... anyone knows whether ToD is such a rage quitter or he simply forgets? With this bad manner he makes it harder to respect him for his good (mind game heavy) play.

lol came to comment that there was no GG. but I see it didn't go unnoticed and that this player is known for it. I think its just a protoss thing to be honest. I get a lot of rage quitters in ladder myself lolol

[contains SPOILER ... and a lot to read ^^ sorry]
Sure, frustration is an explanation, but it doesn't excuse this IMO. This is when ToD is one game up.
Uthermal looses the series and I'm pretty sure he was frustrated, too, yet does gg (as any other player would and should - except maybe Idra or Naniwa which are considered bad mannered for that exact reason).
I think the "gg" is an important unspoken rule of E-Sport culture, showing a level of fairness, maturity and professionalism. If E-Sport wants to be taken seriously, players should pay attention to maintaining this level of professionalism. Otherwise it won't transcend the "angry adolescent teenagers playing video games" image.
That this isn't a "little ladder game" should actually be a reason to show some good manners.
I mean, you're right that this means more than "just a game" for these players, and the frustration might be more than a mood, since players might be under a lot of pressure. Yet if you do SC2 professionally, you should be prepared to loose, too. It isn't different than in any other game, for fun or for money.
"Winning means nothing if you can't loose" (some smart woman whose name I forgot) - true in its ambiguity.
In my opinion, not throwing a "gg" is a gesture of disrespect to your opponent. Even if this isn't intended, it usually will be interpreted as not admitting that someone beat you in a fair "good" game ("because of cheese/imba/luck/unfair advantages/...").
Uthermal, by all means, played a fair game that he didn't win just out of sheer luck - and Protoss at that point certainly isn't an underpowered race that you could blame it on.
I think if ToD doen't gg because his nerves went through, he should at least show some modesty and self-criticism. Or apologize, especially if he wins a series while "rage-quitting". I've seen that more than once now and I also experienced him during "fun-games amongst pros" at WCS, where he seems so grim, only happy if he wins, really pissed-off if he looses and not giving credit to other players efforts (e.g. just recently TLO/Vortix vs ToD/Welmu).
Like I said, it just makes it hard for me to appreciate his performance overall, because it doesn't feel like mature fair play anymore. But I guess that is a question of character, too, and I won't deny that I'm biased towards more friendly characters and gestures (like Brasil and German soccer/football players engaging in friendship after the devastating 1:7 ... that is sportsmanship).
With all that said, ToD surely has done a lot for the SC2 community and I surely give him credits for that (and I think he does "süper casts" ;D ).
