either he saw it and threw the game or hes the only pro in proleague to not use the minimap in game... either way doesnt speak highly for mkp



I can't even imagine what Marine King was thinking in that game. He sees no natural and no gold bases, so aggression of some sort seems the most likely case.

The only thing I can think of is that he was expecting an attack at the front and was focusing his attention there to see any units the moment they appeared while completely forgetting the existence of the destructible rocks.

Not only was there a Zerg structure on the minimap next to the rocks, but there was creep almost making contact with his second CC when he put down the third one. It isn't like he was out on the map scouting or harassing... what was he even looking at?



Just to add to this, it seems that PinnacleSports voided all bets on this match due to highly unusual betting patterns immediately before the match, indicating the possibility of match fixing (this was based purely on betting patterns before the match, not anything that happened in the match itself).

In that light, it made Wolf's comment at 2:20 (Game 2) pretty interesting. I'm not saying Marine King intentionally lost the match or anything, but something about him did seem very different than normal.

MVP and PRIME don't have practice discipline and method like KESPA players is all there is to it.



MKP looks bad in general... look at his eyes. They are deep...

He looks very stressed out, sleep deprivation, and has a huge weight on his shoulders from all that he has lost in the last many matches.

I feel bad for him.

I think he needs to take a vacation from the game, come back, do his military service, and make a life change.

Wish him the best... but his eyes... and no checking mini map at something so clear... He is in a wrong state of mind.



Yeah definitely is he old enough for the military though? That's what I mean though is that the really professional teams wouldn't allow that kind of sleep deprivation and stress.
