#2 Well, comments ARE for where people SHOULD discuss the games that they just watched. Asking all of us users to not exercise our options properly because some idiot casters might ruin other series is a bit unfair. You should direct your rage towards the swarm or towards those casters.



some solid casting from Wolf on this one, is actually really informative to have a lone caster every now and again because they can give a more detailed blow-by-blow account of what the players are doing and thinking in real time, instead of a more general discussion between a casting pair. Epic series, game 1 especially so



#4 There are ways to discuss the game you just watched without spoiling it, it just requires a modicum of care. Follow this site long enough and you'll see plenty of examples of ppl doing just that. In any case, the spoilers I tend to rage against are the completely pointless ones like "GOOOOO <PLAYERNAME>! WINNING!!11!!"

As for caster spoilers a good (but not infallible) method is to just skip the first video to the start of the game, worth doing in any case as you'll get back 10-20 minutes of your life for every series you watch.



#6 Nobody is spoiling games when they are legitimately commenting on them in their proper location.

I understand if people are commenting on future games, but my personal opinion is that comments on the video at hand or referencing them to previous videos is acceptable. Sometimes a video is just so awesome, or a player just explodes hatcheries and queens with such grace that I too will give them a little shout out!

As for your caster spoil method, I also skip the chit chat before, as well as after. But there was one video a few weeks ago during a tourney, I believe a round of 8, where the casters called a concurrent game to state "the player who wins this will be playing..." It was totally lame! And they should know better.

I have an infallible method for avoiding spoilers when reading the comments. Watch the videos first, read them after.
