Derp indeed. Did you see Nani's mineral reserves? It was resting at 1600 minerals, 500 gas when Lucifron attacked. That's bad micro, plain and simple. Not Terran derpness.

@wogzi Point valid. Wasn't paying attention. When I watch pro's I don't really pay attention up there, just expect good macro from Nani. Fair enough.



I also noticed he had at least 2 gateways with 1000+ money sitting around doing nothing. The first attack could have ended a lot better if he used them all with chronoboost.

Are you guys serious? Did you watch the same game I did? This was an AMAZING game. Do you really think it's easy to lean back in your chair and chronoboost gateways while microing voidrays against marines?



Comments like these about what players should hypothetically do are retarded. Everything has a cost and attention is a resource. Sometimes you devote it to unit control and harass, and sometimes you devote it to meticulous micro.



I would like to see any of you pull off anything half as good on the macro side while attacking. I watch a lot of pro games btw (job has a lot of downtime) and this game was pretty high up there as far as macro and unit control. It was also incredibly exciting.



As to why the terran won, he attacked at a critical timing right before psy storm finished and was able to keep the army count on both sides small. That kind of situation heavily favors bio+medvac comps. At the same time he had good unit control in avoiding storms, sniping templars, and denying the toss a mining base besides the third. While all this was going on he was constantly reinforcing, getting double upgrades, and saturating his third while denying any sneaky play from the toss (watch the game again and pay attention to the minimap).
