The Billowy pick makes a bit of sense. Dream appears to be not reliable at the moment, and I think they didn't want to double up on Zergs.

Both Dark and Soo are great players, but there isn't a single Zerg in the world right now which is favored against strong mech play. It doesn't mean it is unbeatable, just never favored. i.e., a risk. Also, Zest is good against Zerg as well. So throwing Zerg up against potentially 3 bad match-ups is probably something they wanted to avoid. At least with a Protoss, you can get a build order win in a mirror match-up, or if you survive long enough against Terran you have an edge to take a win. Try to take at least a win and hope Classic and Innovation can pick up the other 3.

As a Life fan, I wished he played



I can't believe how dumb innovation can be nowadays since his builds are all figured out. Like in that last fight, if he didn't walk up a ramp into 5 cannons and a full concave, with half of his SCV's not even attacking, and instead he had just killed the 3rd and backed off, he would've been in a decent spot.
Walking up that ramp is a loss 100% of the time against any korean protoss.
