Wait, so a European like Mana can run all over an elite Korean Terran like ForGG, 3-1 him and no one sees a problem?

What problem are you implying?
he isn't an elite korean, at all.
yeah not even close to elite :D It's funny how people don't realize how much kespa players are superior to non kespa ones. All the best "rest of the world" players would probably be loosing players in proleague imo

Let's see who he beat this tourney: Jaedong (2nd best player of Brood War--the most difficult strategy game of all time) and Polt (Former GSL Champion). He's also beaten down ST.Life (back when Life was unbelievable).
Now if we start with the assumption that Korean players are simply better than almost all Foreigners, then we compare that the finals were two foreign Protosses... Maybe we could assume that Protoss is an easy fucking a move late-game guaranteed win race that allows you to place far better than you deserve?
I'm not a doctor, but if I had to guess, maybe THAT's what I was implying.

It wasn't a matter of toss being OP, or really Mana being a Korean killer. ForGG just played the same SUPER drop heavy style pretty much every game. So Mana reacted to that, switched to the old phoenix/colossi style to hard counter it and won.
Mana adapted to ForGG, ForGG didn't, all things being close to equal, ForGG loses.

jaedong's credentials as a brood war player mean nothing; polt has long been out of the korean scene, when he won gsl; life got beat straight up, but every dog has his day. forgg got beat later in the same month by life 3-0, and to my knowledge hasn't defeated a kespa korean since.
rain is the only non kespa player in the world that can be considered elite by korean standards. he is actively competing with them, something forgg couldn't even consider right now.

Kespa players are undoubtedly a higher echelon than other Koreans. Polt is in University now and no longer a top tier Korean. Jaedong has had some pretty excellent success, but he's not at the top. All of these are excellent points.
But you're still denying the existence of an enormous gap between all Korean players and their Foreigner counterparts. Blizzard is an American company, Starcraft is an American game, so why are "we" considered foreigners? Because they are just far superior to us in terms of skill.
A premier tournament where TWO foreigners are at the top is unheard of. How many times has a foreign Terran even won a premier? Twice, both by Thorzain, in 2011; immediately Terran was hit by the nerf stick.
It's simply irresponsible to say "oh, well ForGG went that super heavy drop style, so he lost." There is a window of opportunity from about 12 minutes to 18 to really make something happen in TVP and if Protoss can simply utilize it's defenders advantage to the utmost, it WILL win.
There is no composition, no unit control, no positioning that allows a Terran to win a max v max game. If there were, you wouldn't see every Terran either mass doom dropping or pulling 50 miners desperately hoping to kill a Protoss before the game can make it to that point. Once it's there, you lose, point blank.

yes well the fact is Protoss deathball is the strongest in game. It's the dynamic of Starcraft II. Protoss has the strongest units, but they are also the most expensive and they take the longest to build. So if you let Protoss create the deathball, you should loose. It's just how it goes. That doesn't mean Protoss is OP or whatever you are trying to imply. It's just the state of the game.
You can't just not do anything to protoss and expect to win with the other races in HOTS. It just doesn't work like that. And that's how it should be. We could talk about small imbalances, but raising flags becasue Mana won against ForGG who won against Polt is just overreacting. If you watch the Kespa players you have great players of every race. I do agree that the amount of terrans at the very top is lower than the other races though.
Still, the best players like Maru and Innovation play Terran for a reason. They would definetly play Protoss if they thought it's OP. Guys like that can learn a new race to crush with in a matter of months. But they don't. They remain terrans. And they win.
Sorry for wall of text :D
