I binge-watched third CC and chill. #noregrets
SPOILERS!!!
How did GuMiho kill eleven probes @ 11:43 in Game 5? Was there another widow mine in another base?
@ahmarvinsmith: I guess it has to be another widow mine, although I didn't see anything at the minimap. Tried to figure it out, first thought might be a bug with the killcount as we've seen it with tank-splash, but if you look at the probe-counter, it switches from 41 to 30. Mysterious...
good games anyway.
@2,3;
There was also a widowmine placed in the natural expansion. Look at the base in the minimap at ~11:45, you can see there are no purple dots going to the minerals and you can see a vague teal hue in between the mineral deposits.
A few seconds later ~11:56, you see a ton of purple dots move over to the mineral deposits, the purple line moves away towards the south and suddenly you see purple dots move over the mineral deposits again.
This was completely not seen by the casters or the observer. The observer shows the base at ~12:12 as if nothing happened.
FYI the widowmine in the natural expansion got 7 kills while the one at the third got 4. So they basically showed the wrong shot ;)
Ha, thanks! great detective work :) worker saturation of 10/18 at the natural shown at ~12:12 supports that analysis.
