Oh man I remember Nerchio being super cheeky during the shoutcast kings match hosted by total biscuit, saying "So when's the next GSL?" when he beat ByuN in a best of 1.

This is just super delicious to see, the cheeky c*nt can go back home now. Eat your words!



wow nerchio played well that first game but he just fell to pieces right at the end there. amazing play from maru to stay in that game... i thought he was done for sure.



nerchio played both very well, and very poorly. I mean, those runby's were effective because maru refused to build a wall, but at the same time, nerchio couldve easily sniped the ghost academy. And that engagement in game 1 where he got wrecked by marus siege tanks from the 4th he had ZERO high ground vision, what did he think was going to happen? he couldve biled his way to a gg.



Nerchio is a phenomenal player, but seems to quickly succumb to constant pressure / high-stress games. He loses his characteristic cool and starts flopping. He has the skill to win a GSL, but needs to excersize greater control when things don't go his way.

The end of game 3, he double expanded. Too confident. Should have teched up / amassed an army then safely expand. It was obvious that Maru HAD to attack again as he'd lost too much and failed to down the 3rd hatch. Nerchio's over-confidence led his loss.
