Sick games. Really looking forward to Starcraft Remastered. So far the patch notes show almost no tampering with current mechanics, which I feel is very important.
Starcraft Remastered is both promising and worrying. The new resolutions and keybinds and observer functionality is great. As for the worrying part; new people will start playing it and complain about balance. This means that Blizzard might try to cater to the casuals once again, either altering balance or mechanics to make it easier for new players.
The worst part of the latter, is that SC Remastered is compatible with SCBW. So any change made to SC Remastered; you can't just say "Well I'll just keep playing SCBW", because the changes will also affect SCBW.
Pleeeease don't fix any bugs that are allowed in tournaments (Such as drills and pushing units past mineral lines with collisions, lurker hold fire etc)

they shouldn't mess with it. i LIKE the graphics. I LIKE the ease with which you can differentiate units. They're going to bugger it up, and make me squint at the screen to see what the hell is going on.

Scroll down until you see the animated "gifs", you can move the bar to compare SCBW and Remastered properly. I do not see any reason to worry about differentiation.

So far so good.
However.... I was never a fan of the whitewashing of kerrigan. She was black, and in sc2 they made her white. Now they are going back in time to remove any trace of her blackness.
Yeah, I've read forums about it. I don't care what people are saying, the fact remains:
Kerrigan was black
Reynor was bald (or really cut his hair super close) He also looked very skinny, while in sc2 they made him jacked.
and there is no amon, just the evil overmind, that b1tch kerrigan, and a bunch of idiots who loved to fight among themselves and let kerrigan use them like toilet paper.

No matter how bad the quality;

I don't see any way that signifies that she was black in SC1 and unless you show me some in-game material (in-game cinematics or gameplay footage) showing otherwise, she's most definitely white in Starcraft 1.
Both the Uprising and Liberty's Crusade books mention her being white and Liberty's Crusade also mentions her having a tan. These books were from 2000 and 2001 respectively, way, way before any work on SC2 began.
Looking forward to your factual data about her being black.
