A lot of players will practice that way to force themselves in to the habit of constantly checking the minimap.

But they even said during the first match with Stats, she had recently lost to Keen going nukes while she didnt have sound. Not surprised to see him do it here.

Practicing without sound makes a lot of sense. Competing without sound in a live game doesn't make any sense.
