Incredible plays by SoO. Even Tastosis didn't see any way for SoO to win in the first game but he somehow made it look easy.



So, if you're taking notes to play like Soo, the main idea is to be better than your opponent.



This is why I've always had so much respect for both SKT Zergs. Getting ahead and staying ahead until the win is impressive enough when talking KR Starcraft, but it is those games where the player is behind and still pulls out the win which shows they are truly on another level.

We've seen this with Dark where he is down a base and workers against Terran which "should be a loss" yet he pulls out wins when other Zergs lose.

With this series it showcases Soo's ability to do the same perfectly. A MIRROR match-up down in supply and he pushes into a defensive roach vs. roach fight and somehow takes the game. That isn't supposed to happen.



Absolutely agree with #5 and by extent #4. They just have a much better understanding of the game (As easily showcased here and in the example by #5) that simply makes them better than other Zergs.

As #4 tries to make fun of, it is of course true. If you're equally skilled and you're very far behind where even casters say they see no way to win, then you are obviously not going to. But when you are on another level like soO, you can.

The notes that the casters refer to is that you can win even when down a base or with a lower roach and drone count. But only if your understanding of positioning and mechanics are better and on top of that make the right decisions.

The latter is much easier said than done, seeing as all Korean pro-level players play this game for 12-16 hours a day and they sure as hell do their research. Still worth noting down that you can win against all odds if you ARE capable of that.



This was such a high level performance from SoO. It's incredible how well he understands how to balance the units in ZvZ.
