Great games; but ZvZ in BW is such an awkward matchup. I suppose statistics say a mid-game situation happens only in 1 out of 6 games at this level.
This opposed to TvP or TvT where almost all games go at least into the mid-game.
The larvae being so precious and a quick hatch being a really big risk (As showcased more than once in this video) just demands early game advantages that snowball into mid-game at longest.

noooooo! my heart.
Have to agree with Xeneo on most points.
But to expand a little, ZvZ is by far the match up that punishes even the smallest decisions at every minute of the game.
1 out of 6 games going to mid game seems a little low of a percentage over all of the professional ZvZs ive personally seen. But in a best of 5 offline situation like this I suppose it can be much more likely. The victor definitely studied his opponent and knew what to do to prevent letting the opponent get to his 'sweet spot.'
