lot of casters seem to have this terror of having even a second of silence in their spiel. some guys deal with it by spamming "very" (or the dreaded "very much... indeed"), other guys deal with it by going off on tangents. when you sound like you are stretching to fill space, it's kind of grating.



i guess there are viewers who like that style, but i would say "just open your mouth when you have something to say about this match". want to fill the first few minutes? curriculum vitae and notable play-style characteristics for the antagonists add something.



there seems to also be this ethic, that having watched the game before casting it spoils the "purity". i dunno, i think a caster who knows where the action is going to be SO WE CAN SEE IT isn't so bad, and seeing the development once would stimulate some more insightful commentary re: strategic decision making.



Less "drama-casting", please. I came here to enjoy myself not to hear a lecture.

@thisiswhyyousuck fair point my friend. Do note that i don't usually give lectures but just this situation called for it i think. But i agree i'll keep away from lecturing.

Yeah it helps if you see the game first but sometimes it can take away the edge!



It was nice hearing about the TB drama because i noticed something but didn't understand what was going on. I guess TB did what he tought was best.

Great game. IdrA shouldn't BM TB. TB is a great caster and no one really knows what was going on behind the scenes with all that. Good cast.

Much better than previous casts. :) Just a note on misanthrope's advice, I think the first 3-4 minutes can often be boring since nothing usually happens during that time and if you've got some new info/drama about the sc community, I think its a good idea to talk about it but do it quickly. Details first, then commentary on the event, and for god's sake don't let the commentary run into any action. But like I said BIG improvement. Thumbs up! :)

Hmm strange. Brog seems to be a little upset with the caster change. White citizen seems to like it. Why pander to one instead of the other I wonder? Ah well the politics that i don't really care about...
