common idra... manner up!
very nice games from drewbie! ultra aggressive in game2, with did a very good damage at all. how many zerglings has idra to pump out and just get roasted?
in general i like totalbiscuit, but this one was a bit onesided i think. not commending drewbie´s actions, witch where quite effective.
thought it was a dc at first.. tho if you look at the minimap at the end drewbie was rolling tanks and marines into idras base, and 2 seconds after the army touches creep i think idra sees it and ragequits. awesome
hhe is cold as ice, willing to sacrifice :DDDDDDD
A lot of Idra's games he doesn't do anything that the opponent doesn't expect. If you look at game one that is the most typical zerg game possible. Of course he does it well, but it would be nice to see some overlords drops, nydus, a tech switch, or anything new to keep his opponent off balance.
haha typical idra kid ragequiting after getting owned by that terran
Jimbone-look at the map. The first 3 bases are so close drewbie could seige a tank in his main and in his 3rd and there range would over lap. Any zerg would have about 0 chance of winning against a Terran turtle on that map. If the terran couldn't siege into a victory on the first 3 bases the 4th and 5th are extremely defend able and pretty close again. If that game was played out i could easily see it turning into a drone v scv at the end after everyone ran out of minerals. Pretty sure thats what the idra meant by this is silly.
Occultslayer(and any other scrub who thought less od idra after game 2) - It took Drewbie 30 game seconds to talk a seige tank from his front door into idras expantion. This map is stepps of war except the air rush distance is non-existant either. Let me break the second game down to all very very slow people. Game 2 was a spectacular display of how Idra is better then 90% of the pros out there. Did he lose, yes, but lets recap. Drewbie had hellions in Idras base for over 5 minutes of game play. Pretty fricking huge. While this was going on idra: transitioned to lair tech. Built a spire. Completed a spire. Built mutas.(little side note works are 28 drones to 32 scvs.) Drewbie sees this and suicides the rest of the hellions on idras expo.(works at 24 drones to 32 scvs) The ending of over a 5 minute harass shows idra at 2200 minerals lost to drewbies 2050. It's not like drewbie is some random ladder scrub. He's fricken drewbie.
Idra sucks lol
lol
Yeah, idra has bad manners. That is his pro-gamer trademark. Think of how many people in the community know idra because of his bad manners. Ask them what other pro-gamers they know and some of them will have similar trademarks. Like TLO and his awesome random race play. It is a great way to stand out in a group of pros.
I think both games show how both of these players are really great.
Game 1 shows how good of terran drewbie is and game 2 (even though he lost) shows how good idra is.
We have all seen idra completely dominate other pros with that build in game 1, however, drewbie manages to hang in there and push it back. Very awesome and well played. Although, I did think idra gave up a little too early.
In game 2, that had to be one of the best defenses to a hellion push I have ever seen. Sadly for idra, it still cost him way too much in economy because of the larva lost to zerglings instead of being used for workers. But hey, it was still impressive.
And as always +1337^2 for TB casting!
