IdrA vs Socke

Other than IdrA not bm/ rage quitting, this series is no surprise at all.



IdrA really needs to learn how to play games out, I've seen plenty of players recover from similar situations in other games. It's not like he was even that far behind in either game.

I was quite surprised at the outcome, extremely well played by socke, especially on game 1 where he used the robo bay to trick idra into going corruptors/roaches and he went immortals instead rendering both useless...



no point dragging out the game in both games. he gg'd in time, not too early... first game his forth got destroyed and main got mined out and the toss had equal economy AND with a forth on the way - no way a player like socke threw away such insane lead, especially when his army coulda (and did) trashed idras aswell.



game two he got outplayed badly. roaches didn't do much and it was too l8 to counter the mass phoenix play.

Losing queens like in game 1 is like letting half of your gateways get powered down. I dont get why IdrA allowed the pheonixs to be so effective. He could have easily dropped more spore crawlers...

I get the impression that HD has never seen a 3 gate sentry expand..?



How embarassing that Idra lost to Socke. I think the imba issue has totally got to him on this, to lose to such a bland, unconfident player as Socke. Great openings on his part, I don't see what Idra could've done different, you can't get behind in drones against 2 base P.



Idra hasn't grown as a player in months. He is getting passed up in skill level.

I'm a non-player, and this game has taught me that you just need to get four phoenixes ASAP to kill all of Zerg's queens. And then that Zerg will quit.



Agree with desinc...Even in game 1 he saw the stargate and had plenty of time to get defences up but still he had so many queens and overlords picked off



Belial you talk so much shit... Socke ain't a bland unconfident player .. he's a top protoss player from Europe. And Idra, as most NA players is freaking overrated.



Z should turtle a bit now when dealing with P. If he had 2 spores on each of his 3 bases then the initial harassment would not have been too bad.

Socke is one of the very best protoss in the world.



HD has a great casting voice, but he is the least attentative of all the big casters. He missed the Stargate in game 2 for almost the whole warp-in duration and he apparently doesn't even know what the MLG alterations regarding close spawn positions entail.

I think HD is a great caster but this wasn't his best work. Missing the stargate and not knowing the MLG map changes was bad...

Anyway, maybe he just had a bad day.
