@santah - it doesn't, but why post the series on this site if it's incomplete and is just going to get people to rage about 4-gating when they haven't seen all of the games?



It's indeed sad that people rage on 4-gating when it's a such an effective tactic, but to say that attero sucks for using it, thats disrespectful to the game and to socke who failed to defend it twice while using 4-gate.



@Totalbiscuit Please never slow down :) you've made even somewhat dull games very enjoyable. And I lack the proper words to explain what you've made the very exciting games to be :)



Socke's blinks seemed a bit off esp. the one onto the ramp at the end and also just walking those stalkers in a line and letting that one get picked off but still great micro at the final engagement

@santah - you do not seem to understand. SC2casts, in my understanding, posts complete series. In this case, they posted 3 games of a BO5. People as a result believed the series was nothing but shitty 4gates when in reality, there's some amazing play not only in game 3 but the rest of the series as well. As far as I'm concerned, SC2casts should not be posting series until the entire thing is uploaded.



The stupid thing is I explained this already yet you didn't seem to listen the first time.



@TotalBiscuit: santah is the admin of sc2casts, thus why he took your remark as some sort of aggression and defends it in a snarky manner.



Anyway, 4 gates was indeed a bit boring, hoping the next ones will be better

also, again: a) you didn't release any more vods from this series, so I thought that was that, and posted them here, and that was still the case until today b) it's clearly marked "3 games" so if people can't read, you shouldn't really care that much about what they say. c) as I said before, if you didn't prefer em being posted, you should've made them private, and released them all together. I ain't reading minds dude.

@totalbiscuit love your casting. Yes 4 gate is just emergent protoss strat, as nothing else can really counter it (robo's or air) for the money. Shame as PvP becomes a little tame. Even TLO is forced to 4 gate and go blink. Do we have any examples of alt. builds possible that can handle 4gate?

@santah - for someone who runs an SC2 vod site you sure have very little clue of how Youtube works. You NEVER keep VoDs private and release all it once, it hammers you for doing that in the ranking algorithms. Not to mention releasing 5 VoDs in rapid succession oversaturates your subscriber box which is why no-one with any sense ever does this.



You thought there were only 3 videos in this Best of 5 series? Why would there be? A quick check of the channel page and you would have seen the notification saying the other 2 were coming the following day. You know how many times I've released an incomplete series?



Once, ever.



I am not suggesting you read minds but when I am suggesting is that if you see what looks like an incomplete series, just don't post it, see if it ends up being completed. I get like 800 views from your posts dude, it's not a huge amount, we're not going to lose out if you delay posting the casts for a while to make sure you post em all at once. If you want this site to be the preferred place to watch VoDs, then getting a handle on posting the entire series is pretty important.



@solpak - Being right is often mistaken for riding a highhorse by people who don't know what they're talking about. Somehow I doubt you watch my casts anyway so nothing of value is lost.

Dude, you're pretty disrespectful. It's rather surprising and sad actually to see you being so aggressive towards this issue.



You should know this site is only one of the businesses I run, and I'm doing all this myself (programming the site, the apps, and updating the content).



I'm doing the best I can with what I have (and currently this is the best resource for VODs PERIOD, so I'm probably doing it right).



I'm following like 25-30 casters, and many of them don't release full series. If you think keeping track of all that is easy - who's releasing full series and who not, finding out info about what events those games were from (because most of the time casters don't care to mention it), checking out actually how many games there were, waiting for some time to see if the rest of the games will appear, reading all the comments all the time to see if something is wrong, or just to monitor for rude language and/or spam ... well, if you think that, you sir are mistaken.

Instead of complaining in here, and attacking me after, you could've dropped me a quick note (forum, email whatever) pointing to the fact you gonna release the rest of the vods soon, and you prefer em released all at once here, and I would've hidden it and waited for the rest.



It's an attitude thing.



I'm pretty sure you're sick of people that don't appreciate your casts, and go ahead and trash em in comments for some technical error you made. In a way you're doing this right now.
