Idra could have won the 2nd game if he sac'd his 3rd and countered through Mana's front door.



not so simple really if zerg tried to sac 3rd for toss natural the protoss could run past 3rd and ff himself inside the zergs natural/main

Well it seems that most people cannot understand positioning...And idra expects to win every game with mass roach...



i think that idra made of his rage - no it's even called "The Idra Rage" his vist crad xD



so this game was played on old shakuras or am I missing something? looks like an old game because of idras rage at the end of game 2 lol



Idra will never improve as a player cause whenever he loses he blames the game rather than realising what he did wrong and try to learn from it. In game 2, for example, he made countless mistakes and lost for good reasons but instead of adapting his play he rage quits.



Tibb hit the nail on the head, Idras positioning was terrible.



g2 idra fought on lots of chokes and ate some nasty storms. Several mistakes - was surprised he whined that game.

I gotta be critical of idra in game 2, since the lol, he lost his temper and played it poorly, just brute force attacking, like "why this guy doesnt die i have(had) the better economy".

Not attacking and just letting Toss A- move to each next expansion, using FF to get it up and defend his other base. Sounds better than attacking through chokes. Just remax to beat once he moves out.

ZVP matchup is shit, Zerg can't finish the game vs Forcefield in poor maps and Protoss is op lategame.



You seriously think sacing your third will buy you enough time to actually knock on the toss front door? Protoss ball just has too much dps. By the time you get to the front of the toss base, you've probably be losing 2 or 3 bases and you're not going to win in a base race/ base trade situation because engaging in any of the bases on shakiras is toss favored.



force fields are too strong, colossus are too strong, storm is too strong, stalkers need a god damn counter. Zerg is just too weak to AOE and toss has too many. That's what's wrong with ZvP and why there are never any zergs winning tourneys anymore. It's all TvP.



Well if u wait for the protoss too get 200/200 with every unit he wants too have, dont expect too win the fight head to head midfield. Think beeing really anoying with nydus, drops and infestor play. would have put mana abit off in game 2. Atleast Idra got too build his 70 drones all three games without beeing attacked, kind of mana too atleast gief him that satisfaction or else we would have seen some real idra rage. And about the miss balance u guys are talking about, protoss cant build 220 supply or more for that matter like zerg can. + Protoss cant remake 200 supply in a matter of seconds like zerg can. So dont really see the unbalance.

@Mongoplugg So the only way a zerg can win is by getting creative with drops, nydus and infestors? I thought this game was supposed to be a macro orientated game, you're telling me that the most macro intensive race can't win unless he gets lucky?
