@bron Agreed in point if not the vehemence. It's hard to keep a running commentary going without falling prey to self-deprecating rambles or cliche nerd humor, but these are the things that every caster works on because they turn away your audience in droves.



Stick with the simple observing; you don't always have to predict the next move or know exactly what's going to happen. Just pointing out the obvious and making sure the commentary focuses on the game is often better than trying to establish your own credibility as a 'nerdy guy'.



I don't get those games. Protoss is such a joke. I really hope HotS will bring some balance around giving zerg some real scouting power and some real options against mass sentries with those abusive forcefields.



Not fun watching, commentary didn't add any excitement either.

I hardly think filling some time with information regarding my Youtube channel (which this video is posted at, BTW) is "half the video". If I have something cool, such as a video card giveaway (someone always finds something to complain about) then I'm going to announce it on my channel, when and how I want to. In this case, I didn't want to make a separate video because it's not "the" announcement for it.



Wogzi pretty much nailed it - I'm an aspiring caster, not a Day9IdraWhoeverthefuckelse tickles your fancy analyzer. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with them - just the opposite, they're fantastic contributors to the SC and overall esports community. It just seems some folks have their own "be like xxxx or GTFO mentality...which too, is fine, up until it's submitted as feedback in an overly simplified, exaggerated yet entirely unhelpful manner.



As much as I'm trying to improve my delivery of knowledge within the cast, it is an ongoing process which is a huge focus for me. To that end, I love feedback...when there's an ounce of objectivity involved.



@Ahnaris Hey man, really enjoy your casts. Not trying to be a dick here, but from a public relations perspective, you really want to try and avoid even a hint of negativity in your responses to your viewers (even when deserved), makes you seem unnecessarily spiky.



Anyway, bummer to see Spanishiwa so epically spanked, what was he doing here? Running his stuff up against forcefields, waiting for them to drop while his lings get killed? Uncharacteristically poor.



Yeah it thought it was a good cast and count you among the good casters worth watching. Haters gonna hate, don't let get to you. Husky and HD crap on about their own lives endlessly in their casts and they're very established.
