Spanishiwa vs cutezerg

HD used to be one of my favorite casters, but dude has he gone bad recently... this cast is horrible!

nice game though



what i mean is : he misses all the builds specificies (spanishiwa going for fakes and only one drone at gaz to get speed for example) and battle main points... disapointing

What bothers me about casts like this is the fact that it's difficult to envision a future where people take e-sports seriously when some of its best-known casters spend their time telling us about their personal lives.



Turn on one of the NBA finals games. How many times do you hear the commentators soliciting car advice?



Why so many thumbs up? Cutezerg had such poor voidray and phoenix control. He could have crushed Spanish if he retained those two voids and two phoenix that he traded for all of one queen and two overlords.

Apparently you don't watch much football. The things I could tell you about Terry Bradshaw's life.



wtf, stuff is going on like Spanish's single drone going on gas and HD ignores it in favor of telling us about how he might get a prius. C'mon man, I understand sometimes both players go really standard and there's really nothing to say, but when you make an extractor and then only put one drone on it that's a sign that something is amiss, and as a caster you should be drawing attention to this kind of stuff...



Well cant exacly compare sc2 with the Nba finals.

And the 1-2 firt mins of a games really isent that exiting, so couldent care less what the caster is talking about. Should he go 100% exited each game. Telling about the drone spread?

"Omg, what a great spread. As we can see ppl the minerals are piling up omg" When ur casting that many games all day long, u gotta be able too share some personal stuff with the ppl out there without getting flamed.



That's sort of my point. If the commentators were professional 100% of the time, then perhaps one day we *can* compare SC2 to the NBA finals.



And you don't have to spend the down time talking about personal issues. Hydrax, for example, spends that time telling us about the players, showing us their faces, talking about their histories, et cetera.

Professional means you do it for a living. As far as I know, this is an amateur cast as HD does not do it for a living nor does he even get payed for it.



As such, it is hard to whine on what someone does as a hobby during their own spare time. If you want to whine on something, whine on the MLG casts as they are doing it professionally (they are great though).



Regardless, in my opinion HD does a good job.



hd is fine, want a bad caster to flame on watch psy... i never get through a whole game with him casting



Toss had the game there with 2 voids and 2 phoenixes, but thanks to some terrible graviton beams lost them, then on the next attack failed to keep the VR charged after the rocks, missed some FFs, and lost it to terrible micro again.



I don't mind the talk about HD's car, but the game itself sucked. Spanishiwa vs some random plat level toss? Thumbs down.

No worries. My hobbies and likely the hobbies of the other people here arent of much use to anyone other than ourselves. With that, it is a bit ridiculous to complain when we are able to benefit from your hobby.



It is also unjust as you are one of the best casters and do an excellent job, you're always casting with a happy and enthusiastic voice.



If there is something generally I wish was done a bit differently when it comes to casters it would be the thing pretty much every caster has a problem with (it is very apparent with DjWheat for example), it is being biased in the cast torwards certain players or certain nations (in some cases certain races as well but I have not noticed that from you).



It is very difficult to not let it shine through who you are rooting for though, as there is so much passion involved from the casters but it is still something that is useful to keep in mind.
