BoxeR vs XLord

It's good to watch matches like this, and appreciate the kind of skill top players actually have. Whereas XLord was caught out of place for basically 20 minutes in game two, a player like MC never seems to have his spell casters getting exploded for free.



man that was just sick mico running the maraders in there to pick off the festers, i dont blame xlord. no one does that shit- boxer is just on a differentt level

Loaded is right, that small hit squad at the end of game 2 was incredibly smart and made me actually cheer out loud. It forces the Zerg to either waste fungals on a small group of units (that can still do DPS) or just lose the infestors straight up. That means less energy for fungals and neural parasites on the main army, as well.

Always great play from Boxer, and even when he doesn't win he still seems to teach us all something new in every game.

Is it just me, or does Xlord's macro seem pretty horrible in both games? Always way behind on supply, and not really from losing his army... just low droning.



Well it could be low droning, but remember that there was a lot of harassment on the drones. Boxer is just a "WTF" player.



I think xlord was behind this entire game, just when he didnt wait for his whole pack of lings AND for speed to attack those early marines, and he went in with only half of them and without speed. It's true marines could have gone back to the base if he waited, but if that had happened, since he wouldn't had lost so many zerlings he would've had enough for a pretty big baneling bust, or at least enough to delay the terran expansion while he got his up and running.



Husky has gotten SO much better



How have we not seen that marauder hitsquad (credit: InkS) to deal with infestors before? gg



Boxer is the man! Really keeps you on your toes with constant multi-pronged attacks
