Would saying that IdrA went 15pool-15gas-15hatch or that Legosu went 1gate-FE really have made this video that much more informative to you? I doubt it. I'm a caster, not a robot. Do you know how boring it is to just listen to "A is going B, X is going Y" all day long? Almost as boring as it is to say that stuff. I cast games between PEOPLE, not BUILD ORDERS. I suggest you watch more starcraft before you start criticizing commentaries.



I thought the cast was well done -- it was good play by play and the caster was clearly paying attention to the minimap. I'll tune in to more casts :)



After reading the comment by nojaz, I listened to the cast. It was pretty good and it did contain tips and explanations. So I also will tune into more EtaZeta casts.



@ EtaZeta, im talking about thing like where Idra was massing roaches but getting things melee upgrades 1 and +2, where he was getting infestors, the amount of gates of the toss, the unusual unit mix of the toss (very low sentry) etc. you just talk about what you see right in front of you and not getting the bigger picture or overview.



Yeah I gotta agree with nojaz, casting was not good, and the games were awful, especially the second one.

No need to get all defensive EtaZeta, it was good constructive criticism. I won't tuning in to any more of your casts.



I think the games were great examples of how small mistakes can allow a pro SC2 player to get ahead and win the game. I enjoyed the casting as well, thanks!

Nojaz, notice how the production tab is left open most of the time? You're telling me not to "talk about what I see right in front of me" yet you want me to read the production tab...right, ok.

Pwnasaurus, my point was that the criticism was less constructive, more flat out wrong. And it wasn't the "criticism" that annoyed me, it was his snippy remark at the end there. But by all means, feel free to never watch a cast of mine again. Your time, your call.

To the others, thanks for the kind words! I know I'm not perfect, but I'm working on always getting better and I'm glad you guys are enjoying the casts. More to come!



Actually, I do agree with Nojaz as well. In the first game, there was no indication that Idra was going for infestors until he had 6 of them. Sure, we could see it in the production tab, but would be great if you just took a second or 2 to mention it. Idra also did try to go for Ultralisks in game 1 but didn't need to, would be a plus to mention it to indicate that Idra was way ahead.

In game 2, you also failed to mentioned that half of Legosu's army was hallucinations, which most likely lead Legosu to tap out (since he has almost no real army).



Etazeta, you need to stop being so defensive. I just went and clicked on every game you cast on sc2cast.com and it seems everytime someone made even the slightest criticism you become so defensive. People are going to comment and troll you, but you got to grow a pair and learn to just ignore some stuff that doesn't need any response (e.g. "short game is short" does not need a 4 sentence rebuttal http://sc2casts.com/cast4590-Destiny-vs-Deezer-1-Game-Starcraft-Ladder-Battle.net-VOD).

Defending every criticism also makes you seem like a sensitive dbag.

I liked the cast btw, I thought it was enjoyable.
