Polt vs Minigun

Great match, considering Minigun was the underdog.
Rather than win or loss, I believe Minigun has the potential for greater success in the future. Thumbs Up.

This was my first exposure to PainUser as a caster and garbage describes the experience. At least, HD Starcraft is bearable.



Good match, but what happend to your casts? You used to be on top of everything with good strategical reflections. Its fun with dual casts and I love painuser's casts with DjWheat. But you guys need to calm down and just pay attention to the game more. No one cases about all the bullshit you're talking about. You missed so many things in the first game. We watch your casts because you're professional casters and not a drunken frat douch. There are alot of great casters out there and you're both fantastic of what you do. Dont loose it!
Pay more attention to the game if you wanna keep your fans, thats all!

ok games but terrible casting. the worst ive heard in a while. i was watching the minimap in game one and hd and painuser missed a whole bunch of stuff. just fucking commentate! who gives a shit what you guys should be called as a casting duo! ipl 3 is shaping up to a good solid alternative to mlg...i hope u frat boy wannabes dont fuck up a good thing. and hd's casting has really gone downhill this past year...no substamce at all. painuser i cant stand that jarring voice of his spouting bro loving diahrrea



Yeah, the casting really wasn't the best here. I know the casters are capable of doing better than just joking around the whole time.

I thought Minigun looked great.



These games go to further show how much more cost effective terran units are then protoss.

The harassment was equal (if not out right better for minigun) and minigun had higher tech with a superior probe count. If you then look at resources unspent, he only went over 700 minerals once, that's whenhe was saving up to throw down a 3rd. Other then that, unspent resources was pretty much identical to Polt in game 2. Fighting on the ramp was a bad idea because he had 50 melee and half range, while all terran is ranged. His army was able to out DPS, and he got stormed heavily and didn't micro out of them very well.




I mean to say 50% melee 50% ranged



Yeah, minigun had more probes, more tech, but Polt actually made an army, which tends to help. But I guess that doesn't fit well in the 'terran is OP story', so you didn't mention it.




I'm a fan of Minigun cause he's a cool guy. But he definitely doesn't have the level of play someone like Polt has.

Minigun's micro's decent but he makes a lot of mistakes in his decisions. And as seen in Game 2 his multi tasking and macro's always been vulnerable to falling waaay behind.



Marcus, Marcus, Marcus, Protoss is supposed to be the mostcost efficient race. That's why they should be able to have half the army of a Terran player and come out on top with bad positioning. Don't you know anything about balance?
