MMA vs Stephano

So HD's taken to watching the games before he casts them... "cool." Knowing Stephano's build is believable, calling battle outcomes way in advance is less so, calling the exact spots where MMA's going to siege up or build depot walls... yeah right.



The last game is AWESOME.

This match reveals, as a tiny example, why Millenium was grabbing and pulling Stephano's one arm and compLexity on the other arm. Kudos to him and his future in E-sport.







Seriously, Stephano is the most overhyped played in recent times.. even more than Idra. That last game would have been over in less than 10 mins had it been coca or losira playing zerg... I cannot believe how the game became that close after terran lost almost 25 SCVs at the beginning.



s4life. he still won. he just figured it was over and could end it with a bit more pressure (after killing a million scvs). he was wrong. but no big deal

Loved the matches - super action all round.



First game @11.32 HD calls the ultralisks to be coming out a few seconds before its built.. while the rest of the game he pretends not to know whats going to happen. Probably due to him embarrasing himself when he does dual casts and calling battles wrong all the time/ missing them like @19 minutes in first game too.

Have no idea why HD is a famous caster when hes so terrible at it/annoying.



so much fun that it's so obvious that HD is a zerg player :) ... his of the opinion that zerg attacks that early and with that low tech / many units isn't a all-in ... trust me . anytime a terran crushes a attack like that... it's a free win-.. no banelings to stop a counter attack, and roaches suck.



Really cool series. Very curious about comments #1 and #3 -- I also got the hunch that HD had seen the match ahead of time, it wasn't the same style of casting I'm used to, but I haven't seen a solo cast of his in a while.

Maybe he was worried about solo casting, so he watched the game in advance, or maybe he just seems much more aware and knowledgeable when he isn't cracking bad jokes to his co-caster...



I feel like HD`s casting has gotten far worse and Husky has steadily improved in the last couple months.

Act like men. You can criticize someone's work without trying to belittle them.



I think HD is still pretty good. He just needs to slow down his casting a bit and choose his words more carefully. A lot of missed euphemisms and sayings all over the place. It just seems rushed but you can definitely tell his heart is in the right place.



Yeah, great games, and let's cut our casters some slack. Generally they are paid hardly anything and share with us for free their work. So a big shout out to all casters, whether you are beginners or experts. My favs are xhydrax + husky/day9, Also i totally stand behind HD who has brought a lot to SC2, but many more are really good.



Yeah I don't really see the point in hammering the casters in these comments. Its better than watching a replay and its free.



Note to caster: you may want to point out the mind-game within the game. Their was a nice delay on the gold for Stephano on Game 1. When Stephano took it late game it was more of a tactical play as MMA had to choose... either guard his super far expos, or deny Stephano his gold.

Good job on the casts, not sure what these haters are saying.



I saw idle mules in game 1 several times. I wonder what's up with that and why it was never called out?



Thanks to HD for a great and professional casting. Stephano indeed showed very interesting and innovative style. Very much recommended cast. I had a lot of fun watchin'.

I'm glad he's watching the replays before he casts them, it significantly increases the quality of the vod, unlike many live stream where the caster misses major battles and drops.



HD is one of the better casters.
