amazing choice my puma in the 2nd match to get a early raven which seems to be for Dt's - but then it plays a huge role later with 2x PDD*s to defend the vikings killing the collos. genius.. rly nice pattern.



Am I the only one that is completely unimpressed with PuMa's play? It's nothing but abusive of terrible balance in PvT.

it really is hard for protoss in pvt. terran can deny early scouting completely and protoss has to play in the dark until observer is out. also hidden expansions are much more profitable as terran because of the ability do drop all mules there and flying away if scouted. it really can be frustrating.

It's so easy to just disregard somebodies words by saying he's nog GM, even when you don't know. I can argue with you about PvT (or any matchup, Random ftw) anyday, I'll probably understand it better than you with your extreme bias.

Don't make claims of which you don't know they're true. Makes you look stopud, especially when you have ~20% non- English words in your single sentence.

toastie - he was only abusing the fact that he was way better than his opponent.

His supply dwarfed JYP's in both games 2 and 3 and he only did the boring 1-1-1 push in one of the 3 games.



1-1-1 is "boring" because it's "massively overpowered." I'm not sure I've ever seen a 1-1-1 build lose in a professional game. Apparently it happens, but it's around 5% of games. The only people who fail to understand that are idiot low-level Terrans. It's hard to blame professional players for doing what it takes to win when it's really Blizzard's fault for never fixing absolutely glaring balance problems with the game, but MVP, best TvT player in the world (and thus most successful SC2 player in the world), said players who use the 1-1-1 should be banned from tournaments... before using it himself.

Yes, Puma abuses the glaring imbalances in the game, and yes, that takes away from any credit he gets for his wins. It isn't just boring to watch, it's incredibly frustrating. He opens 1-1-1 game 1 and then opens builds that look the exact same so his opponent cuts probes to prepare for the unbeatable all-in and then loses in the late game



To be fair, game 3 came down to JYP's sloppy control letting his army get destroyed at 7:30

PuMa did nothing impressive to me. I practice against a diamond zerg and protoss. I'm a silver zerg.

Against my friend I've done nothing but practice the 1/1/1 and can roll my toss friend.

Against my zerg friend when I'm terran I can beat him.

I play zerg and get rolled. Terran is much easier to play then any other race. Puma doesn't impress me.

SFHFWILL .. plz add glhf#150 on the EU ladder.. come back terran against me .. i dont care if im zerg or protoss... ^^ .. silver player who doesn't think puma is impressive.... the balance discussion is sooo freaking biased in general.. but i bet that i could any1 here while they played terran with a off-race. -- puma is 1000000x better than this protoss obviously - just look at the decision makeing in general.



1/1/1 is menacing, no doubt about it. P not only has to worry about the general strength of the all in (which is pretty deadly), he also has to worry about which version of the push is coming. Cloak? Raven first?

I do not think Puma deserves hate tho, he's a pro for a reason. You have to use what works. And I also do not think that we need the nerfbat on T (what exactly would you nerf to prevent it?) to balance things, my guess is that in two months, the metagame has shifted again and P will hold 1/1/1 in all its variants easily.
