MarineKing vs Stephano

impressive win vs a tough opp ... go MKP !



Stephano is ace. Such a top player and gentleman to boot. He's like the polar opposite of that kid idra.



Seems like stephano was trying out a new build on the 2nd game. Timings got messed up and he never really appeared threatening. MKP was as cool as a cucumber. Not even building bunkers and going greedy on bases.



It's too bad Stephano's all-in failed so hard game 1 because he separated his units, because that same all-in would have been an auto-win game 2 against that cheesy-fast third



Yep - Stephano is a classy guy ... and I agree with Djoppe, a certain popular US Zerg could learn a few lessons from him...

The all-in didn't fail because stephano didn't have his units together #4... if he waited to put together units, then the attack would've come a good 10-20 seconds later and then MKP would've had 2 more hellions and another marauder, and would've had enough hellions to gib all the lings quite quickly. Stephano sending the lings in to get a surround first was the better move.

MKP held it off because he made... a marauder. There's a reason no one does such DRG style roach pressure anymore.

#7 you're wrong. string-attacking was very bad, roaches had to TANK the damage, notice how long did they live even without lings. Lings, while roaches are tanking, do an amazing amoung of damage, as well as they avoid kiting. This attack was very poor tacticly.

MarineKing is so sure he won't do any agression that he saves some minerals on scouting and walling-in, as well as building CC'es(!! not pf) right at the 2nd and fast 3rd(!!??) base. Lol get 45 lings and kill him, he didn't even scout you. 4 hallions are noway a problem for 45 lings. NOOOOOO, i go ultras, i'm a macro idiot. Bad games. Very Strange. :(

I agree that Stephano is a classy guy, but plz don't compare him with IdrA. Why the f*** do you always have to complain about Idra?!? I mean, Stephano is a good player and has some really interesting build-orders, so plz comment about that, and stop whining about that other Zerg player...
