elfi vs Stephano

game 2 is shorter than game 1, why two parts?

Stephano so imba.



Game 1 is awesome but then it gets so one-sided.



Stephano = The hardest tower defense game with difficulty set to "Impossible".



Stephano is sooooo much better than Elfi, though the forcefield play was really really strong. Stephano very bull-headedly decided to deal with it with only roach+ling, but he's good enough to do that 99% of the time. Game 1 was just superb positioning and execution for Elfi, and Game 3 showed how that strategy usually goes when you play against Stephano.

With Elfi playing so much on deceit and hoping the enemy doesn't have superb scouting/counter, I wish that the tourney would be set up in BO5's, so he couldn't fluke his way to victories over huge players... Game 1 he squeezes a narrow victory, Stephano makes sure it never happens and lays the smack down Games 2 and 3 -- better players are able to adapt, so longer matches would let better players win more often.

Really good series and cast.



Anyone knows why the heck these clips cut out so bleedin quick? Can not even here TB signing off, not to mention saying something about the game.

Then again, it's free.





Props to TotalBiscuit for calling the mid-game Blitz by Elfi in game 1.



Even though I agree Stephano is the way better player, I think Elfi would've had a pretty good chance of taking game 2 (and with that the series) if he had taken out the natural with his voidrays.

Of course BO5 increases the chances for the better players, but it also takes out part of the excitement. I mean, would anyone seriously think Elfi has a chance vs Stephano in a BO23? Longer series are only interesting if the players are evenly matched.




@esoremada - they aren't cut because of length, length isn't an issue, Twitch cuts every two hours whether you like it or not, so games are sometimes split as a result
