Another game with Idra rageing
IdrA entertains again!
slow roaches against micro stalkers.. he lost way to many there in the beginning...
LOL!!! I think he was talking about himself when he said 'trash' LOL
well played by Mini and Idra should take some anger management courses
i stopped watching idra games a long time :D, just thumbing down and marked as seen. he's not sports
It was a good game!
IdrA got owned and raged! always funny hehe
why does he rage ? Do he think protoss stalker are OP ?
Notice how whenever you see vs Idra, Idra always loses? You would think Idra is the worst Zerg player in the world from all the Idra loss replays out there.
It's cause people who lose games to Idra don't have the balls to release the replay, and Idra himself doesnt release his own replays.
Raging is Idra's trademark--there is no such thing as bad publicity. Think about it.
you know what, I'd like to see Idra winning for a change... he lost in all the games I can see. I think people just want him to lose?
This caster's soothing calm voice is so ill-suited to SC2 casts.. I feel like I'm listening to a gardening show.
"We see Idra planting this nice little patch of tulips, while Mini answers with a rosebush lined with chrysanthemum..."
Idra bad manner
i love that timing push on zerg right before they can get mutas, even though idra wasnt getting em
idra's behavior is shameful
idrA is a god damn pimp!
Wow, I am used to this rage from kids on ladder, for a pro player to be like that, so sad.
The timing push that Mini went for is really strong btw, 2-base 35 probe, 5 gate, cut probe production and mass a large army. Works great.
Great cast. Ignore baba... you make the game enjoyable and not anywhere near annoying.
Baba go watch herp to the derp Husky
It was a nice change this caster, felt like I was watching the PGA. I like Idra rage! Let it out man!
awesome IdrA rage. kinda don't know how he failed so hard though. Too much econ?
After watching the game a few more times it seems like IdrA wanted to get an expansion down, or at least did a good job feigning interest in it, but Mini delayed it. IdrA then created a Roach Warren to spend those excess minerals. But the roach warren went down after a 14 pool which means it wasn't all that fast in terms of a roach rush (I incorrectly called it a 7RR).
Mini on the other hand had been creating units from his initial gateways, rather than waiting for warp tech, so he had a few units on the field before IdrA's roaches.
IdrA then moved out with 7 roaches but the timing was off for them to do much damage to his opponent, rather than do army damage he simply pulled back with them and they were easily picked off by stalkers (with faster movement speed and larger range).
IdrA then probably droned up a little too hard, but at that point the failed roach attack put him very far behind.
"This game is ridiculous" Ye i know Idra I played it aswell, and all of suddon i got attacked by the other player. acctually attacked me b4 i had 6 expasions and 110 drones, NERF attacking after 7 minuttes vs zerg.
"Raging is Idra's trademark--there is no such thing as bad publicity. Think about it."
You think you're fucking Einstein by parroting that stupid axiom. Well think about this, you fuck: Idra's rage has nothing to do with trying to get publicity, he's genuinely getting frustrated, & since he's got a bit of character he expresses it with a bit of colour.
And if you want proof, go and listen to that State of the Game podcast where Idra expresses how unfair it is that NonY has this reputation of "just chillin' " the whole time, when in the beta and SC1 his rage/bm was way crazier than Idra's.
lol @slut your a dumb fucking moron if you think idra's rage doesnt help his publicity.. thats the ONLY reason he has so many followers/critics. yes hes a great player but my no means is he even top5 atm. grow the fuck up and stop posting.
So judging from the entire comment section no-one here saw IdrA's performance in GSL2 and are HuskyStarcraft fans.
He made it to the round of 16, it started with 64 players, and he was the only non-korean in the entire ro16.
IdrA's an amazing player, but he seems a bit numb, and doesn't adapt to his enemy's style of play.
Also: Search for IdrA vs BoxeR, yeah. If beating BoxeR twice isn't a feat, I don't know what is.
@Ranker: I'm reading back my post and strangely enough I can't seem to find the bit where I say his rage hasn't contributed to his fame. So that's point one in deconstructing your post. Point two: quite clearly his rage isn't the "ONLY" reason; the fact that was the first non-Korean to qualify GSL, and the only non-Korean to get to RO16 so far, would clearly leave him famous regardless of his bm.
In conclusion, I've clearly proven myself to be more intelligent & knowledgeable than you, and thusly (by your logic) you should "grow the fuck up and stop posting".
gg comment rage!
I'd like to congratulate the caster for excellent trolling. Posting IdrA's replays against someone unknown(who the fuck is he) and then go "aha 5 gates all in, yo babe burn those chronos; I like this tactic" is really baiting for views.
At least admit that the reason you posted those games is because you wanted to see people go "omg IdrA is BM" and get over 9000 views.
@AcidRain: InflowMini is a decent enough player. I'm surprised you can't tell that from his play here. The only reason he's not 'famous' is that he doesn't do many tourneys. So, in short, your points are pretty inaccurate at best.
@AcidRain Umm Mini is the 24th ranked played on the NA ladder according to Blizzard's top 200. He's not GSL level but he certainly can't be called an unknown or a scrub. IdrA games are popular in general, not just because of his BM. I've posted a ton of IdrA games where he doesn't BM and plays solidly, including his Winners Finals series against HuK from MLG DC and some of his recent series from MLG Dallas (the ZvZ against Rigid was a good series, I like Rigid a lot).
I've cast over 90 games now and this was the first series which had noticeable BM in it, if that was the sole reason for posting it what was my reason for posting the previous 80+ games?
Gentlemen, let's not spread the rage, please. We can disagree about a whole host of things without acting like children. That, in my opinion, is what IdrA's instances of rage ought to teach us.
Why so many thumbs on this one? Does everyone just come to this site in hopes of seeing IdrA rage?
While many people here may not realize it, IdrA is the best player from North America, and I'd say #2 foreigner in the world, only behind Loner. That said, with this being a bnet matchup, IdrA could have been trying a new build or whatever, and lost to a 2 base all-in.
Enjoyed the casting Matron.
Stop making excuses Eldar. Idra played his normal style, droned too hard and got punished for it. The scrap station game he only won from the micro mistakes that mini made during his big push (it felt like maybe he was back in his base macroing during parts of the battle when his stalkers were attacking buildings instead of hydras).
Good players lose to other good players. There is no dominant force in SCII right now. Go check the top of the ladder and look at the win percentage. Most are between 50-60%.
Idra is a good player obviously and he's gotten good results, but by no objective measure of tournament wins or achievements is he "the best NA player" or "the best foreign player" outright. He just happens to be more famous than some others because he was super-active during the beta and because of his reputation for BM.
I agree IdrA's micro is still pretty shitty, definitely worse than a lot of NA players, and his understanding of RTS seems a bit obtuse; but his game knowledge and macro are pretty unbeatable anywhere. But then again, IdrA probably has more gametime than most other players. Only the time will tell, I suppose.
