toooo gooood
OP stim makes the difference yet again
Stim timing pushes do tend to be quite effective. Still I'd blame the lack of production structures.
true Matron, Tyler did not play well at all with his lack of gateways, but it seems you have to play ur best game to win from a moderate to good Terran, let alone a great one like QXC, stim just makes it mission impossible sometimes
Qxc won every single encounter. Tyler was too busy responding to Qxc's banshee reputation and just lost a lot of small edges that added up and the drop + emp at the end sealed the deal.
Qxc just had an excellent feel for when he should push, got amazing scouting info due to good scv micro and then used that advantage to counter everything tyler was doing.
Race balance has pretty much nothing to do with who won that game.
QXC played better however lets not dodge race imbalance here. Terran is obviously the OP race and something needs to happen to either stim, vikings, banshees, and for sure medivacs.
As a zerg player i understand the frustration with race imbalance. Toss is stacked as it is against zerg and having to deal with rines, tank, thors and vacs will make any zerg cringe.
Yet when it comes to this game i am in complete agreement with thesmoosh. Qxc's excellent scv micro for info in the early game, as well as the stim marine scouts up the ramp to place his emps was the deciding factor. If tyler had done something as simple as stagger his sentry's while creating his concave in front of his exp he would have had a much easier time with his all-in push at the end of the game. Needless to say, Qxc out-played tyler at every angle in this game.
**Side note: tyler is an excellent player and i give him full respect, hindsight, as well as full-vision replays are 20/20. Great cast, always a fan matron.
What with all the up votes? This is an awful game.
Tyler played really sloppy and QXC took the easy win.
*Yawn*
all these people complaining about imbalance, have you ever looked at race win percentages?
for example, zerg consistently wins more than 50% of their games, but they're underpowered???
try improving your skill instead of complaining about imbalance.
Win percentages don't mean very much at all
I'm not sure about imbalance
But terran's timing attacks are much stronger and safer than those of the other races
zerg do have a grudge against some of the terran cheese *on certain maps*..
however, protoss? to win against a good toss terran player has to do more multitasking. you have to constantly keep toss on edge with drops or other harass. In fights against high templars you *have* to place emps just right, and even then protoss can insta summon more hts ready to storm.
And forget about winning a 200 vs 200 fight in TvP.
