WhiteRa vs Naama

Autorepair so stupid strong...



Sad that Naama had to use cheesy stuff (that's even being removed next patch) to win.



Actually those SCV's weren't really repairing a lot of the time, and there was nothing wrong or cheesy about that push.



It was just a very well-time and well executed 1 base timing attack that punished whitera for trying to expand and tech to two different things all at once.



It also worked because the entire composition was well thought out. The raven made sure there would be no scouting or advance warning of the entire army comp, the banshees were there to counter zealots/immortal which is the standard response to early thor, and the marines were there as the mineral dump.



It was an incredibly close long battle and it could have easily turned out differently based on many little moves - Naama's medivac micro and whitera not utilizing the voidray flank on the siege tank soon enough to save his nexus.



When you watch these games, "cheese" and whining about imbalance should be the last thing on your mind. Try to learn from these amazing players for a change.

My seem like hindsight to you, but to the rest of us it's called analyzing a game so we can learn what to do next time.



The raven bio build is actually a common one, so is the thor rush. It was well done because of the way Naama was able to craft the build using elements of both of those builds.



You could see how well thought out it was as you were watching it, nothing to do with knowing the result. Would've been a good build even if Whitera had won, which he almost did.

Doesn't change the the fact that WhiteRa's name, almost certainly a reference to White Russian, is racist with disturbing, eugenics overtones. Study your history, particularly CCCP eugenics experiements in the Ukraine and elsewhere. Fortunately this is just a game, and Duckload/WhiteRa is probably just an ignoramus.
