You know, I like IdrA and I do think that zerg are a tad weak, not too UP but a just a tiny bit. However, mutalisk need a nerf. They're the zerg version of the colossi. They're so good and so fast that they're used in every match. I can't say I'm a fan of seeing nothing but mutalisk play all day. I know with bigger maps you'll see more of them flying around constantly but if they were were to get a slight nerf (to movement speed by maybe .5 imo) then how could zerg get buffed? No idea, just rambling atm. Good match tho.
Mutalisks, and colossi, and like any other specialized units that are powerful in a specific area of play, are hard countered by a lot of stuff.
this was shakuras and not xel naga. zerg has more room to tech up to muta (enough of them that is)and macro up. big difference compared to xel naga and other smaller maps where the MMM push comes before u have enough mutas. at that point, you need awesome baneling play to stay alive.
Game 2 already encoded and will be uploaded tonight on my youtube channel...stay tuned :)
DDE was too indecisive in this game. He could have applied early pressure but kept dancing back and forth with his marines.
Splitting up the first drop was a good idea but he couldn't execute both attacks effectively. Idra was fast enough to respond to both drops. Dropping in two places at once challenges your opponent to respond simultaneously but if you don't have the APM to manage two drops, or you are facing an opponent with superior APM, you are better off dropping at a single target.
MANY errors by DDE. It wasn't a good game.
11:30 DDE is so panic he destroyed his own medic :D.
yea, i loled
yeah i saw that lol, good cast
