Agreed. What's especially funny is that from what I can tell from his stream and his comments, Spanishiwa might very well be Idra's biggest fan. He won't shut up about him.



I'm really looking forward to the Idra rage when Span does what he did in another match I saw the other day...nydus a bunch of drones into the main and lay down half a dozen spines and spores.

i like spanishiwa but he isn't in the same league as idra and i think he'd agree.



ZvZ can be boring, as there's not much room for deviation between what works and what doesn't. Two GGs from two good players. Spanishiwa shows himself to be the bigger man, actually able to say gg at the end. Grow up Idra.

I watch a lot of commentary and this is the first time I've caught any of your games. I am disappoint. Being BM as a caster? Talking about dongs and rape? You lack any professionalism, and your commentary makes me want to vomit - literally. Drop the Idra fanboy routine, drop the perverted cock-talk, and you might actually do a decent job.

Yeah, Idra couldn't possibly fall victim to something as goofy as a nydus spine rush, anymore than he'd be taken in by a bunch of hallucinated voidrays...riiiiiight.



Don't get me wrong, Idra is technically flawless, but he has zero creativity as a player. This creates a problem for him because whenever his opponents stray from the script Idra expects them to follow, he then assumes that the player is bad, or got lucky, or stream sniped him, or that something is broken in the game itself. Idra doesn't seem to have cottoned on to the fact that the best way to beat him is to do something unusual, something unexpected. And rather than make adjustments, he whines.



What seems to be lost on a lot of people is that Spanishiwa's exploding fan base has precisely nothing to do with his win/loss ratio. It's rather that the kid is *fun to watch*. Those of us who are pulling for him are doing so because he's expanding the limits of the game, making his opponents rethink strategies and builds, making it more enjoyable for everybody. If he continues to be as creative as he's being now (and assuming he gets over this hang-up he's got with his ZvZ), then he's going to leave Idra in the dust, simply because Idra refuses to evolve as a player.
