IdrA vs Spanishiwa

ZvZ early game is so dumb



@Psy, this was definitely one of your better casts. To be honest, I kinda feel very skeptical about the casts, and it's been a while since I watched a commentary from you. But you actually pulled it off this time. Besides, I couldn't resist an IdrA vs. Spanishiwa. ;-)

Two things though.
1) Spanishiwa is still with an "i". He said that in a Day[9] interview, it is simply because "vileSpanishiwa" had one too many characters.
2) You say Hydras are bad against Mutas and air in general... That's a weird statement, since Hydras are actually the proper counter to anything that fly. :-) They own Mutas, Void rays and such.

Anyways, pretty good cast. Hope to meet you in the KingsCup someday. ;-)



Hydras only good if they aren't being targeted because they are expensive glass cannon...

@PsyStarcraft, if u want to continue as an amateur caster, swearing a lot and saying random dumb shit works fine, but if u ever want to be more then a basement caster, tune down the harsh language and immaturity, it is hindering ur progress.



Agree with UniQFury. This cast good... why throw anything in at the end?

The game itself was very great! I disagree with silverdrone: I can't even fathom the control needed to do what Idra and Spanishiwa were doing with those speedlings and banelings! Very intense, and a great display by both of them. Spanishiwa was just able to secure the map, secure extra expansions, then dominate a poorly chosen engagement on Idra's part. GG!



I loved the early game way more than the late game. That ling micro controlling separate lings that were not in w the main army into the banes was genius. The late game, I agree w Psy on the fact that IdrA wasn't engaging correctly but nothing is impossible in this game. He should have stayed away from the chokes and not clump up his units. If you see 3 infestors and know how many fungals he can do, draw them out. Don't put all your units together and ask to die. What happened to good concaves?



To add...we have seen millions of bane/ling games where zergs have developed a strat to sac 1 line into a bane, just like the beginning. So what about after the early game. Infestors have brutal fungals, so sac a small clump of roaches and run away. How is this so abstract for a pro to think of....



gg but not spectacular. When I saw it's Psy casting, it spoiled the result. Also obvious spanishiwa bias is a bit too transparent for it to be a "good" cast. Ye, same team, friends etc etc that's irrelevant if you're to judge casting quality.



i like idra, but if he only realized what a pussy he looks like when he doesn't gg



Psy has the potential to be one of the better casters. Great player and excellent analysis. He just needs to polish up his language a bit.




Love watching this kid Spanishiwa play lol.

And watching Idra pop out with no GG is classic :)

Sure... Sorry. It wasn't meant offensively, and merely as some constructive feedback. I do like the recent Psy casts way more than the older ones, as he has definitely improved a lot. Great game, and great cast!

Are you retarded? First of all, he didn't swear or say any "random dumb shit" at all during that cast.

Second of all, I doubt he needs tips on how not be a "basement caster" from some troll who just wants to criticize his videos.

Third of all, the dude gets over 100K views on every video he posts, no matter how dumb you think the things he posts are. I think he's doing just fine without your help.

Psy is an awesome caster, very likable and entertaining. Keep up the good work!

Zerg is clearly OP. That's how you get noobs like Spanishiwa beating pros like Idra.



Who can say that Spanishiwa is not at a pro level now ?
And he said that ZvZ was is worst matchup :)

It's good that Psy is going into the real-time casting now, I'm really looking forward to see those cast.

You both need to take a concrete pill and harden the fuck up.
A little bit of colourful language and the odd joke is part of Psy's appeal for most people. Last time I checked he wasn't asking for tips on how to 'get ahead' in the casting world, especially from two nobodies such as yourselves.
Next time, keep your bs comments for someone who needs em, not someone who pulls over 100k views on nearly every upload ;)

Spanishiwa is not at a pro level.

I never saw him top 8 of any big tournament.

Many GM player can win games vs progammer.
Some GM can win BO5 or 7.

But win a tournament or have a good placement is another story.
