IdrA vs State

Hehe thanks for this cast! I really understand IdrA, I myself would also be really angry if someone abused forcefields like this, even if it was a nice play from State.



Maybe idra should switch to P like destiny then he won't need to worry about imbalance



nothing was abused. All Idra does is blind Macro, transitioning into rage quitting when it doesn't work.



Idra is a great player, he would be awesome if he had some character.



So Idra macros up blindly to 70 drones, and takes a 4th while P is on 2 bases, then rages when he has 0 units against the guy on 2 base basically all-inning with 40 some workers...

Yeah, brilliant. Idra is a fucking a tool. If he had built a spine at each base earlier, and had maybe 5 roaches prepared he probably could've held. But no, he had SEVENTY drones. That's too many.

What a tool.

endlives, sorry bro that you're so butt hurt. IdrA sux, get over it. He hasn't won anything big in ages. Online touraments for a few hundred bucks and like the first or second MLG. He's done nothing notable since then other then constantly come in 3rd place or lower in foreign tournaments and Ro8 in GSL once.

He refuses to learn how to use infestors and gets mad when ppl don't let him get to the 'perfect' state before fighting. No one in their right mind wants to wait to engage zerg after they've had 10 minutes with no harassment and have perfect drone staturation. Everyone knows his style and abuses it knowing he won't do a damn thing til he at least hits 3 bases in ZvT or ZvP.



I thought state played really well, but I know why he said that he played badly- he almost killed his own warp prism just after he unloaded his units and made the first remote warp-in at 6:29. If he had killed that, it would have significantly reduced his assault potential. Luckily it *just* survived. As a protoss, i'm gonna have to watch his stream though, as it would be great to chat with a pro.



Protoss units have low attack rate so they are not so effective like Zerg's thats why sentries are so importent for them. Without that unit it is imposible to win Terran and Zerg in early game.



idra only does two things:

a) drone to 70
b) two base all in you in rage

solution to both: two base all in idra

why would you ever do anything else?



lol minigun did the same thing to idra. he didnt learn shit. his only counter to rape is rage.



Interesting discussion. Anyway I just wanted to say that normally I'd pick a slightly more interesting game than this, however I casted it as vileState sent me 2 replays and asked me to cast them when I asked him if he could send anything, so I casted both. Hope you guys enjoyed both and checkout his stream too. He's really good and he chats to the viewers
