Ok, game 1 was a build order loss - cloaked banshees hard counter the voidray cheese. But game 2...? He lost a couple stalkers he shouldn't have, I guess... But sitting on an extra base for 5 minutes and cutting probes doesn't let him just overwhelm a 1-base all-in? It wasn't even close, HE got swamped. Something is deeply wrong here

Yeah.. siege tanks early game is really wrong :P
It would have been even more wrong if he had a raven with point defense drone xD

In game two the last encounter was horrible for ace. He had stalkers in front of the zealots and he ran immortals straight to the tanks while a ton of marines were shooting at them... Poor micro!

For gamme 2, the engagement for Ace was just really bad. Stalkers in the front, zealots in the back.. losing about 6-7 stalkers for nothing (the three he mismicro'd, and about 4 attacked from behind for some reason, before the main engagement..)
Basically what rainbow did was he forced alot of stalkers with his banshees. The problem with this is that stalkers are pretty terrible against marines and siege tanks, and also not optimal vs banshees.. So yeah, he should've gone either colossi to deal with the marines or chargelots.

Not to be bitching about Ace, he microed quite poorly in G2, but... Rainbow pretty much 1A'd.? Rainbow could do with 10 APM and Ace is required to play perfect?

Game 2, Rainbow had both an economic and an army advantage. One base terran >> one base protoss, Ace didn't have his natural up and saturated for long enough, lost probes to banshees, had to pull probes...
If the game went on for another couple minutes and Rainbow still completely smashed Ace, there might have been a reasonable argument that the economy should have been able to stop the one-base Terran. The way that game played out, expanding simply didn't have time to pay off enough.

game 2- I think that map is a bit lame against siege tanks at the natural, but Ace really messed up, losing a lot of stalkers then engaging in the worst possible way in the final battle
he needed a much better spread.... which wouldn't have been hard, and obviously not to lead with his stalkers. I think he just thought he lost and was like whatever-gg

Everyone's always complaining about something. If it's not 1-1-1, it's Ghosts they bitch about. 1-1-1 I might actually concede (though the build relatively new, so no one having a counter to it just yet is unsurprising), but honestly, if you Protoss players are losing to a late game bio Terran, it's because you're bad, WHICH IS WHY timing attacks like this are so popular.
