viOlet vs Stephano

Is there some kind of tacit agreement at the pro level to always hatch first? You absolutely can't hold banelings with a FE unless you roach rush, which sets you economically way behind a speedling expand. What's weird is that they still do blind rock-paper-scissors builds (Stephano going defensive banelings and Violet going mass speedlings into roaches) but they do it after getting to 20 drones instead of at 15. AND neither of them even contemplates going spire or infestors, always speed +1 roaches... it's strange



Scouting super early in zvz is nearly impossible, the drone usually dies and you don't get info when you really need it, thus rock paper scissors is how the matchup often goes.
