Disappointing games from Idra... Getting more tried of watching him.

@Sane - Yeah, Idra is so bad...winning the entire tournament, beating HuK in a showmatch, but having the audacity to drop a single Bo3 against WhiteRa.

Enjoy the games for what they are, and stop digging for excuses to bitch about Idra.



^ I've been a fan of Idra, which is why I used the words 'disappointed' and 'tired'. Not 'bitch' and 'bitch'.



And obviously I'm talking about the game in isolation. If we were to balance out player critiques with their previous successes that would be quite dull (and inaccurate).

whiteRa is just the better player for me, but in tournaments u must be very durable. Idra just have playstyle for tournaments. Very boring but pretty effective.



lol - who gives a shit what you think of idra? Boring play? He's been kicking the crap out of nearly everyone lately. I'd say when it comes to tournaments: winning > boring. White-ra's special tactics might be exciting on ladder - but what has he won lately? Results speak for themselves IMO...not whether some loser on the internet is "bored" with them.

nice job whitera and great to have learned from his 3-0 loss and counter Idra strategies. both players are awesome. WhiteRa though obviously the most mannered of the two, but that does not matter in the end either. Idra is definately ahead tournament wise and is playing really great lately so props to him.



Seriously though, I'm curious if the players can hear the casters? In most tourneys I've watched, the casters are usually a good distance away and the players are even in soundproof boxes.

Here however, I've noticed they just have headphones on, and the casters are RIGHT in between them (it seems?)

Could someone enlighten me on this?

Ummmm.....English is clearly not his first language so cut the guy some slack. Be happy that they were speaking english so that we didn't have to read subtitles. And that is assuming that someone go go through the effort of subbing it.

To all the idra haters, I personally dislike his attitude but he clearly kicked butt in this tournament.

Think of it this way: Idra play one build with a few various(with a few exceptions here and there), so the pros know what to expect. If they know what to expect, they should be able to easily shut idra down right? In theory, yes, but idra has been playing so well, he has been able to stop other pros counters, make his economy basically unharrassable, and then steamrolls them. You can admit it or not but that has to take a lot of skill.
