Brilliant play by Stephano in games 1 and 3, although G2 shows that his style isn't viable on every map. On Shakuras you pretty much need mutas or roaches to deal with all the siege tank sweet spots.

Just shows that zerg is a far far lower skill level than terran. Look at happy's micro compared to the A moving of Stephano's. Blizzard is killing this game extremely quickly, no wonder all the decent players still play brood war while the rest swaped to sc2

@muzza: Then they went and nerfed the ghosts. I can't understand, nor have I heard anyone explain, why this was necessary. Even the opposite, I think they should've weakened late game zerg somehow. Instead they've made it more unbalanced

Yeah it was funny the way they went about the ghost nurf, it was all of a sudden, no public testing, no explaination of why and how they came up with the figures, i think it is only the infestors the die with less snipes now. the fact you can snipe a zergling with one shot is just plain stupid. If protoss or zerg have a problem with a terren unit we get nurfed. If Terran have a problem with a protoss or zerg unit then they buff either protoss or zerg to deal with it, the most recent being the phenoix range. before that it was the immortal range and before the the archon speed.

Its called a knee jerk reaction. My guess is that a massive metagame shift happened or was going to happen and forced blizzards hand. At least that is what I would like to think.
After seeing ghosts completely destory zerg T3, a nerf was needed but not what was implemented.

Yes, the problem with ghosts was that they countered ultras and broodlords (with snipe) and infestors (with EMP). The nerf could have been done more elegantly (e.g. -25 dmg to massive).
At this point, many terrans are a bit lost and trying to figure out where to go next. Give it some time.

@15 - I see what you mean by "terrans are a bit lost", but seriously c'mon. Look at the GSL top tier ever since SC2 beta: 50%+ T, sometime 60-70% T.
In addition to that, about 80% of the games I play against T I don't see ghosts used effectively anyway, so to say the snipe nerf is an undue burden, I'd say that it's mostly another call to 911 for a WAHmbulance from the TeamLiquid forums :P
All the T's need to do is put on their big boy hat for a few months while the meta-game adjusts and to quote Dr Dre you'll be alive and on top again.
