MarineKing vs Stephano

Even if Im european, I kinda liked seeing stephano lose finally, I think zerg is way to good early game, with the roach ling baneling attack. Not even the pros mostly can handle it. The units before 10 min mark is way to good I think for zerg. And incorrectly the casters say "all in" its no all in, its never an all in, its just a phat attack, with droning afterwards, preparing for next phase if the phat attack doesnt kill the opponent.



These two make for the best games!

Great series. I agree with #1 - The casters have no idea what they are talking about when they say all-in. An all-in is something you can't transition out of in reasonable ways.



after ulta-losing the second game, why go for the same strategy the 3rd? Ultra's suck. he couldve rick rolled MKP with a few more hatcheries and a succession of zergling and baneling run bys



game 2 was just like mkp vs drg on the same map.



MKP is a beast! Zergkiller. Took out both DRG and Stephano in the past few months. Oh man. Need more legendary zergs out there.

Maybe violet could stand a chance? But I consider him a grade below DRG and Stephano. Nestea isn't as good as her used to be either. Crazy. Looking forward to more ZvTs with MKP.

Huge mistake by MKP in game 3. He had a cloaked banshee in Stephano's base, while Stephano had no detection and only 2 queens. He didnt even have an evo chamber building until after the banshee hit. And he only got 5 kills????



yes, casters use the term 'all in' every time stephano attacks. Yo this 'all in' put him on 3 baces with 69 drones.....

I also hate seeing t1 terran units just roflstomping zergs t3....... Its the main reason i dont enjoy MKPs games (although i do agree he is a baws)

If T1 units couldn't upgrade up to deal pain to Zerg3, then there would be no T late game. Z can tech switch on a dime, T cannot.

You guys do realize that other than Banshees, Vikings, and Ravens, literally EVERY Terran unit has been nerfed since release. Not to mention day9 would never say that seriously. He has also said all 3 races are OP at varying times.

Terran has waaaaaay more options, especially early game...and Zerg has to guess basically when denied scouting...Oh and Terran gets free mining and/or free scouting and/or free supply....how the fuck is that reasonable? Wow i just realized... Zerg players are all women!
We want equal rights!! But we DON'T want to be conscripted to the military, be able to be hit back when we hit a man, or ever have to pay for a meal in our entire fucking lives!
We want Balance!! But we also want Terran players late game unit to be worthless, we want nerfs on every timing a Terran has in his arsenal, and we want them to have to spend invaluable scans on creep spread we get basically for free...



Stephanos early baneling roach attack is all-in in the sense that if it doesn't do signifcant damage then he is behind, meaning kill a bunch of scvs. It is true that it is a very strong attack and is difficult to hold without taking damage.



I think late game TvZ is balanced assuming the Zerg player goes for Brood Lords. Terrans aren't necessarily op, Ultras just suck and need to be buffed. The only time when Ultras are viable are when the Terran player makes too many Vikings to counter BL's and then the Zerg player tech switches to Ultras. I love Stephano, but I just wish he would stop making such a terrible unit.

I also want to point out to #25 that conscription is not enforced in most North American and European countries. I'm also pretty sure that it's just women with dependent children that would be against being forced into the military. There is also no law that says that a woman can hit a man but a man cannot hit a woman. Both can charge for assault if they are hit by the other. Also, I don't think women who rally for equal rights ever said "I want equal rights, but I also want men to pay for all my meals". Just sayin



Every Terran unit has been nerfed since release... yet Terran players whined about every single one of those nerfs, even with consistently overwhelming win rates, and after endless nerfs, Terran is still the strongest race. That doesn't mean it's the easiest race to play (which is actually Protoss). The reason foreign Terrans tend to suck is that high level Terran play actually requires tremendous APM and a slew of different builds that appear identical to ordinary scouting.

When i was working at a constables office I filed more than one warrant for men that had by any definition been assaulted by a female, defended themselves, and promptly been arrested. Women have more than equal rights.
As for conscription, that's only because we don't have a war right now. And no, no women are forced into conscription in the US (they are in the IDF).




Um, just because women aren't forced into conscription doesn't mean that women fighting for their rights don't want to be conscripted... Also, just because a man was assaulted by a female and the female wasn't arrested doesn't mean that women fighting for women's rights think that that is right... just saying lolololol

Back to sc2.. ultras are decent in some games. I've noticed mostly on taldarim altar. But yeah ultras generally suck. I play zerg and I only build them when I'm overwhelmingly ahead. Otherwise its broodlords for late game.



Ultras are fine.
And when Stephano rose to prominence he was mainly recognized for his kick-ass ZvT which was based on massive amounts of speedlings 1/1 into zerglings/infestors/Ultra 3/3.

He lost G2 not on unit composition but on timing.
MKP attacked when stephano had 8 Ultras 4/infestors in production... that's 40 supplies and 4K mineral and 3k gaz, so yeah he lost the engagement not that surprising...

those who cry marine op, MKP didn't have only marinez, he had 3-3 rines vs not uppgradded Z, he had medi vacs, he had tanks hellions, maraders, banshees, understand medi vac is a magic unit, if you dont shut down medi vacs, the magic combos with magic stim, thats a proper combo, its your fault for not breaking the combo and counter, idiots
next time i hear OP, imma check the uppgradd first
